I replaced my rear calipers this week and I left the lines open without a caliper on them for a day. As you imagine they bled out and I've had to bleed the master cylinder. Problem is I still cant get fluid to the rear calipers. I can mity-vac the crap out of them but nothing but air comes in. I'm at a loss.

Ran for a day with no calipers?

No. It sat in the garage without calipers for five or six hours.

I have not had good success of bleeding the brakes on my Contours by pulling a vacuum. Works great on my Taurus. I have always had to use the pump the brakes technique.

well it turns out my old (15 years)mityvac had crapped out. I got a new one and all is well.
