Alright so still after numerous balances and new LCA's and alignment, the car still shakes at all kinds of speeds. I dont know why, I thought it was the axle, went to the mechanic to take a look at it, he put the car up on a lift and drove it so the front wheels could spin, he said that he noticed that the axles were fine but the tires were bobbling right and left and not flush on the rim? he said it was a balance issue, not axle. Both front sides were doing this to. So I took my car back to NTB this morning since they were the ones that mounted my tires and rims, I told them to check everything, including the tire runout and in the end all they did was balancing, the car still shakes and now I may hafta drive to SZ with my E0's

what do I do?

New shop. Might have some bunk tires. Didn't you get the crazy pricey ones?

are you sure that your wheels are seating on the hub all the way?

when NTB spins the tires up on a balancer they can see if the wheel is running out.
and have you tried the car with your E0s on to confirm that it is the wheels?

you should be able to look at how the tire meets teh wheel all the way around to see if it is a tire issue

i want to take them off and try the E0s but the fact that NTB broke my lug key while torquing is kinda holding me at a stand still

Holy sh!t, everyone stop! It's ok guys he's a mechanic!

Goonz, try driving around with the E0's to confirm/deny whether or not it is the rims!

Thanks for reporting that useless bunch of info.

I'm still sticking by the axles. YOu can't tell the axles are the cause through a visual inspection so the mechanics are full of it. The only way is to either take the gamble and replace them (Only $240) or elimate everything else first (more $$) then replace them (more $$ + $240) when you run out of straws.

If you notice the math, the cost still goes up no matter what.
