ok the price through a dealership is $85 for 4 short bolts/nuts and 4 long bolts/nuts...this is kinda insane considering I could use that money afterwards for an allignment!! is this what you guys paid too for new bolts? or do I have an alternative? Im not reusing the ones I have, those are like completely gone..suggestions?

Get one of each for reference sake(long and short bolts) and go to a bolt/nut supply specialty shop. Get atleast grade 8 hardware or whatever the OEM stuff is. I bet you can get what you need for about $10 or less.

i tried this, the suspension bolts are a grade 10 iirc and they have a special plating on them which you most likely will not be able to find, I looked in a bolt/nut store

I got two of the smaller bolts and nuts from Bill and they no where that expensive ...

Call bill and get them all from him. Don't screw around with inferior hardware in this app. By the time you find the right bolt from Fastenal or McMaster-Carr, get it shipped, cut the extra threads, etc., it's probably not worth the hassle.

Even from Bill they are not enexpensive. As I recall one of the 12mm diameter bolts was about 14 bucks I think the total was somewhere near 50 bucks for the nuts and bolts I ordered.

Price must have gone up recently. I ordered mine from Bill last friday also, and it did come to $88 shipped.

I should have clarified that I didn't order all eight bolts. I just wanted few of each in case some were stripped or damaged durring removale.

Thats true I beleive. the larger bolts are like $9 each, the smaller ones like $12. Buy the time you buy 8 bolts you've sunk almost a 100 bucks.

Small = $9.46

Heres the issue why I didn't post the part number for the nuts:

Bill thought they all used the same nuts, but they do not. He gave me 1 part number and I ordered 8 from him, but 4 were wrong size. I can post the part number I have but that doesn't help you too much.

W703016-S306

Also, the description does not tell you which nuts they are. You can't browse for these either. Need the part number to find them.
Posted By: Goonz SVT Re: LCA Bolts - 05/01/06 07:05 PM
the nuts are lock nuts, they had the little rubber thing towards the end of the nut indicating that is is a lock nut..

Mike I may have few new bolts that I didn use along with nuts that I didnt need since Bill sent me the wrong ones, all big ones..I'll bring them over to you..
Posted By: ElKy Re: LCA Bolts - 05/01/06 07:08 PM
the description of the bolts describes 2 different sizes, M12 and M10.

Haroon that would be great if you could bring me the bolts, it would be less for me to order.
