So I got an offer for $2K for my car from my boss for his daughter who I would bone in a heartbeat.
But the car ain't mine.
However, my mom might let me sell it, and use the money as a down payment towards a newer car.
I already got a couple picked out, and one's a Trans Am Convertible.

wow I wish I could sell my car for 2K! I'd buy a 90-93 Honda Accord or 92-95 Prelude...I really want an H22 or H22a1 swap w/ lsd tranny.

i might be picking up a 92 integra with a fully built engine and head. The engine has no miles on it and im going to have to put the engine in since its been sitting on the crate for i think 2 years.

With the turbo and suspension, I'll probably have $5-6k invested. None of which I'll get back, but hey that's why it's a hobby. That and I'll be one of a handful of FI'd Zetec Contours in the country.

Well, I wasn't about to lowball you, Hector. IIRC you were asking 6k when I saw the add, so I figured your final price was gonna be more than what I was willing to spend to replace my 'Tour.

OK! I'm back!
So I just got an early christmas present. My dad just sent me $2k.
Now I'm thinking about keeping the Merc and getting to work finding a nice 302 to go into the Maverick.
I'm thinking, here's what the car's gonna look like...
rebuilt 302
4bbl intake manifold
4bbl carburetor
4-speed MTX from my Uncle's '70 Mach 1 (spring loaded clutch baby!)
dual side exhaust
black paint with a white stripe down the center...
The Other Ponycar badges everywhere...
most likely a more suitable cam than what the stock engine will have in it (It'll probably be from an LTD...)
