Anyone interested in adding some bling bling to their engine bay?

An exhaust header heat shield you can see yourself in!

Its meant for a Mondeo, but will fit a Contour.

I'll be getting one of these, thought I would try to get a group buy going. (Price is £30 for one, cheaper the more we buy)

A guy over on MEG has quite a few shiny accessories for under the hood, all mirror polished stainless steel.

He also has a cover for the stock airbox and fuse box that are just as shiny (uses double sided tape to attach to plastic).

Guys over on MEG have been using his products no problem with the tape not working.

Here's the airbox and spark plug covers;

And here's the coolant over flow cover that goes on 1998 and newer cars;

I like the coolant overflow cover

Actually its an MEG guy that does it and sells it cheaper than the link to the company you posted in the other fourm.
Plus he won't screw us on shipping.

I am in regulaur contact with the guy.
He's willing to work with us on a group price and shipping.
I will be getting the manifold cover and probably the fuse/airbox covers.
Just need to find out what others might want.

Here's an entire Mondeo engine bay pic (duratec) with a bunch of the bling on it.

There are covers on the lights/MAF/battery hold down/radiator brackets/etc.
I don't need a manifold cover.

me to... mine looks like crap, how much are those shipped?
Just curious, how did this post make it to the zetec performance page? None of these products make you go faster, if anything slower due to the added weight. I like the stuff, but cosmetic stuff is only considered performance if you drive a honda. You know like SI and NOS stickers and body kits, if you drive a honda they give a minimum of 50hp a sticker.

Yup, after u put all this bling-bling on - u'r guaranteed to lose about 3 secs in your 0-60 perfromance.

P.S. 96mercury - u were not thinking when u posted this, were you?
Of course I was thinking, I was being sarcastic. I assume you are being sarcastic too otherwise, wow!
I wanna know prices first.
OK i have now knocked up a pricelist webpage for Wootty who does these parts, he is much cheaper than the other 2 places in UK which make these bits (mirage and auto specialists)

but you would have to ask him about shipping before ordering bits.

yeah sure they dont make you go any faster but it makes the engine bay look much better for at car shows instead of the boring normal look.

Mondeo Sports Fabrications

he's done alot of bits for my cars including some nice pipework for the intercooler, and it is top quality work.

Just got my brake, power steering, and fuse box covers and some lids covers as well from Phil (the guy Percy posted a link to.) Everything looks great. Will put 'em on when the weather is better, and will post a pic.
so, how much was all that stuff with shipping? - in American dollars.

$130 shipped

Well, the fuse cover doesn't really fit since (as I just learned) the opening/closing metal clip is located smack in the middle in our cars but it's on the left in Mondeos. You still can put the cover on, but I decided against it for now 'cause I don't wanna fuss over opening the fuse cover every time I need it.

The power steering and brake reservoirs covers are not really direct fit but still it looks better than nothing. Overall I liked the washer lid cover the most.

So its 130 for each of those? I could use a new cover for my air filter box mine as a little hole in it covered with electrical tape I also wouldn't mind having the other stuff but that'd get pretty pricey.

Nope, $130 for everything.
so how much would it be for just the filter cover?
check the price list

Mondeo Sports Fabrications

on my fuse boxes on both mondeos the clip is in the middle, but on later ones its slightly different shape. your better off emailing wootty a pic of your fusebox to make sure you get the right one.
