Since I already removed my resonator, do you guys really recommend an SVT exhaust. Will it make a big difference in sound and performance?? Am I better off going with an aftermarket dual exhaust. That will be my plan for the summer. I really don't have the money for an aftermarket dual exhaust and don't want anything that tooooo loud. Any advice will be appreciated.

Well...a SVT exhaust will run you say $150 max...and the cheapest aftermarket is the Yo-dude for $340..and that one, tho sounds fricken incredible, is on the loud side.

My $.02...get a SVT exhaust and replace the stock resonator with a Dynomax Bullet...total investment maybe $200...and it'll sound pretty nice, and give you that increase in performance...

I'm trying to find a used SVT exhaust. I'm not going to the dealer to buy one, is that a better route?? What if I kept my resonator off if I added it??

Keep an eye on the classifieds. With all the exhaust GBs going on..there's gonna be some used ones coming up for sale. And no..the dealer will bend you over for the same price as a Brullen or Borla...

Be patient.

Also...I see there's a SVT Intake cone with AFE drop-in filter for sale in the classifieds as well. That'll give you an increase in HP w/out the noise of an open element. I have that exact set-up, and I can tell you it helps a lot.

So...for maybe $280 for an intake/exhasut system..you'll get some noticeable gains! Now that's smart shopping!
