As some of you may know....I purchased The remaining Inventory, and All rights ( NOT liabilities ) of The SHO SHOp. I have a set of SS Stage I SVT Cams. Just wondering how many of you might be interested in a set of these. If I get enough interest, I'll get a GB going after SHO Bros. Garage opens. let me know.

They were designed for the Contour SVT. I've been told by many people, that they will work in the 3.0 'tec. They're a bit hotter, like Stage I SHO cams.

According to Vadim these cams were reground and hardened. Vadim said that they are simular to SHO Shop Stage 1 grinds. I expect that the duration has been increased by 20 degrees and the lift increased to .395". I can take pictures and post them if desired. I would only recommend these cams for a 3.0.

has anybody actually ran these cams? or anyother cams sho shop ever made?
Posted By: LOUDSHO92 Re: SVT Stage I Cams - 03/30/06 07:30 PM
Yes these were ran. They gained 10-15hp.

The cams for the SHOs are in a lot of cars and all show good gains. I have a set of Stage 1s in my SHO.

did you personally run them? or was it some one else. i would like to talk to some one who has or is running them? if possible

ok what im trying to say is im very interested. when i go to do my build i dont want to finish it with out a set of healthy cams. i have a buddy who owns the last set of cams from a particuliarly stout road race 2.5l but they are even more aggressive than i want. if this works then i dont have to go to my machine shop and start on trial and error making multiple cam grinds to see if they are where i want them to be

You might gain more interest if you DO post the specs. How do you expect those not familiar with them to say if they are interested or not, when they don't know how aggressive the cams are. Not to mention if the set cost $1,000 vs costing $3,000.
Posted By: LOUDSHO92 Re: SVT Stage I Cams - 03/30/06 08:42 PM
We are working to get the specs. Just want to make sure that there is some intreset. The cams are relativly mild. I have cams in my SHO with a similiar grind that do not have much lope and have good gains (10-15) across the RPM range.

The cost will defantly be below $1000.

Can I buy just 2, save some money, and just gain 5-7.5 hp?

Best post in thread.... You said someone had them in. The best thing to do is see if they had it dynoed. So we could see where they produce power and tq. Peak don't mean nothing if it ain't got a nice curve.
Posted By: bradSVT Re: SVT Stage I Cams - 04/01/06 03:12 AM
Depending on the specs I could be interested since I am building up my parts for my swap.

I'll get the info out ASAP . Please be patient . I'm trying to get a bunch of things done at once .
