I ordered this a last week and should have it by tomorrow, has anyone else ran one of these before? kinda nice to not need the maf adapter and all the clutter.

Your right it sounds like a good idea.

But does it have the center post inside the pipe? If it doesn't it will cause an increase of air which the mass air meter can not compensate for. Thus causing the car to run lean. Which then creates pining=detonation. Other than that i have seen them on ebay. But for $16 give it a try. It kinda seems kinda long to put into our cars. But good luck. again.

If there is a problem running lean I will reburn my chip (3min) if it is too long I will cut it. It should be all good thou, I will post my results tomorrow or whenever ups decides to show up and I get a few min to data log the maf.

OMFG What a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The intake is the same as the bomz 2.5 inch pipe with maf adapter, the pic is not right and the description (3") is wrong!! FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! Do not buy this intake unless you are aware it is not the one in the pic just another rip off from another company. They will be getting a warning from my legal friend and we will see what they might do for me.

Understandable to be upset, but perhaps the item shipped was mispackaged or the wrong order entirely? It's only happened to me once, and it was corrected in about a week or so. Just a suggestion to calm yourself

It does look like a nifty toy to play with. That is, the one pictured.

I do not liek the inverse cone filters. my first intake was a KKM with the inverse filter. It started to impolde on me so i switched to an Ru-3530 K&N. Not i got the Green Filter equal to the 3530. Im so glad i got rid of the filter too...it would not be able to handel my 3 liter.

Sticking your maf electronics in that thing is going to spell doom for you! Kiss a good running motor goodbye unless you have full programmability over your pcm AND $600 for dyno time to flesh out the changes to the airflow characteristics.

Oh, for those of you that can't do math...that is probably $1000 in order to properly use what is basically a crappy piece of pipe and a filter! You can build your own intake with a little ingenuity and some advice on here.

You can't really get the DarkForce name without it though...

I wonder if they stole the design off some poor ricerboy's carbonized intake
