Is there a way to basically have an italian sounding horn on my Mystique. I mean you've heard a Lambo or Ferrari horn, you know what I'm talking about. The higher tone, louder, and more elegent sounding horn. Is that a possible and easy to do mod?

There are lots of things you can do with horns, but basically it is a plug and play deal. Buy horn that you want. Mount horn. Connect existing electrical horn wire. Done.

Finding a Firarri horn may be a little more difficult. You might try eBay.

Some options would be to make sure your car has two horns. Early 98 did, but later ones did not. Getting a factory pair of horns makes a big difference. An easy option for the factory horns is Freeway Blasters. For about $10.00 (Harbor Freight)to $15.00 (Pep Boys or the like) each they are close to the same tone and a bit louder.

You can also install any of several types of air horns just about as easy. There has been one on eBay that is an all in one dual air horn that would be easy to mount. It is louder than Freeway Blasters.

I want to install the early 70's Lincoln three note horn set. Every time I find a set on eBay I get outbid in the last few seconds.

I guess you could try the Firarri dealer, but you will need to dig deep into your pocket to pay for it.

But then you gotta have a dream to have a dream come true.
