I'm finally fropping in my 2-5/8 molded dash pod and i'm at a stopping point, after some searching i can't come up with it and couldn't find the pillar-pod how to......

Where are you guys tapping in for wiring the illumination wires for the gauge? Obviously i want the gauge to only be lit when the lighhts are on.

for my pillar pod I got power for the lights from the headlight switch, I just found a wire that was hot when the parking lights were on

but I would say for your gage location you would want to tap the dimmer switch, this way you can control the gage with the cluster

I tapped into the wire marked "DIMMER" that goes to the stereo. This is also where I tapped into for my overlays. I can't stand non-dimmable lights.
