I don't smoke or anything, but do need to charge my phone at times...

I recently acquired an SVT center console and the cup holder area... I got it because the price was right and I needed new shifter and ebrake boots. I got everything repaired and installed without any problems, except for the lighter. The wiring, plugs etc. seem different from mine. I thought I had it, but it doesn't work.

I thought the easiest way would just be to remove mine and put it in the new console.

Anyone know how to get the lighter out? I can't seem to get either one to budge.

well when I put my pre98 center console in the lighter wiring harness plug was completely different since the pre 98 one has the light in it, so what i did was use two inch long peices of wire and put terminals on the end so that I could plug the lighter in, was pretty simple. If you need pics let me know and I can see what I can do
