Definatly snake oil.

I kinda want to get one to see what they put inside it.

Looks like snake oil to me. Unreal. As though the engineers don't know what is necessary to ensure proper voltage for the system to function properly and to design the system to work within what is available or to compensate if needed. This is really outragous.

Snake oil products always have what seems like compelling proof. This is one more case of if it seems to good to be true, it usually is too good to be true.

Snake oil products really are very good at what they are designed to do. What you must understand is that what they are designed to do is seperate you from your money.

Ummmm... a capacitor . Although it is common for DC circuits have a CAP across the supply voltage to regulate voltage spikes, more for component protection, I would have to think the designers take this into account when developing the car.

I was more wondering if they actually put a capacitor in there or just terminated the pair of wires.

The battery itself is a large capacitor, it's not going to generate spikes. The alternator however will, but that's why there is a regulator on it's output.

Thats cool. A lil smaller then what i was imagining. As one person said here "tuck that in! you got wires hangin loose there, there are women and children around!" lol. Is it me or, do you need a bolt there on the intake?

You are missing and intake manifold bolt....on the left side of the picture. There are supposed to be six bolts and even one missing may cause a vacuum leak.
