Made a couple runs... The car ran a best of a 16.38 @83.8mph... I was pretty happy, best of last year was a 16.46 @85mph...

Anyways, here's the timeslip results...

R/T 1.000
60ft. 2.43
330ft. 6.926
1/8 10.58
MPH 67.61
1000 13.71
1/4 16.38
MPH 83.81

Not bad for a V6 auto... Oh yea, mods are K&N Intake, optimized stock TB, SCT chip. The chip has the stock engine tune and a slightly more aggressive tranny tune...

Thoughts on why my MPH was lower than before... Maybe time for some new plugs and wires?? I did do plugs about 30k ago... Wires are original...

Not bad for a slightly modded V6 ATX. I'm wonderin what the unmodded 4 banger ATX will do, I'd probably run around 18's or 19's.

sun dial and a callander would work the best to measue time when dragging a stock zetec atx

probably around a 18.5-19

Maybe temperature and humidity played a part in the different trap speeds. Pretty good for an ATX though.

If the rain stops, my car will be done within the next week then I want to replace my IMRC box then attempt to break into 16's . What tire pressures are you running? I'm thinking of running a higher pressure to maybe get some wheelspin to get the rpm's up and get it off the line better.

andy,was that with the 15's or 17's??

That was on the 15's... I think the car is gonna need some new wires soon... im still running the stock wires with 91k on the car...

I ran the tire pressure at the max in the rear (44psi) and 42psi in the front... That was my best 60ft. time to date...

I was very happy with how the car ran... Time to get some exhaust work done and do some engine tuning and I should be close to 15's if not there... Thats what im hoping...

It was probably 65-70 degrees with a fairly low humidity...

I'm thinkin' intake cleaning/rebuild - if you haven't done one yet.

I would've set the front tires to about 35 psi, try that next time but remember, no lower than that

I'm corious, how did you launch? Hold the brake and gas? And what RPM did you hold it until? Just wondering becuase after a big tune up and new Potenza 225/50 R16 tires I launch by flooring the brake and gas and drop the brake and its not even close to spinning the tires. Not even a squeak. So did you have wheel spin or no? Cause when I raced I got totally owned off the start and the car just bogs hardcore til 4500.
