That's using dual Garrett GT-28RS turbos.
nice! Any more specs on the car?
Um wow! I don't ever visit this forum and your title got my attention. That's amazing. Tell ya what, if you're unhappy with the performance of your Noble. I'll take it off your hands for you.
I don't know too much about it. I know they did open it up to swap in some titanium.
http://www.nobleforums.com/showthread.php?t=990His car is not a drag car though; I don't think it's ever been to the strip. This guy is a SERIOUS track monster. He goes from track to track to track. I kid you not, he did like 30 track days in 3 months, and is doing many many more.
I am envious. I do wonder about the base plot. The tq & hp lines cross at near 5300 rpm. Weird that the boost pressure should come on so late with twin T28 fans... That was all fugged up...
i like the quote in the one guy's sig on that page:
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."
Anyone notice the stock head bolts ... what is his internal component configuration?
They are graphed in Excel, from a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet data is fine, but there doesn't happen to be a data point right at 5252, and Excel's guess at the line doesn't hit that point.
Update:
More tuning. Now at 488 rear wheel hp and an incredible 530 lb/ft rear wheel torque!

Hello, my name is Dan, would you possibly let me have sex with your car, sir?
The big question is:
How do you build up the tranny to take that kind of torque?
Am I the only one here that has SEEN this car?
Granted I only saw it on the trailer when he was at the drag strip. He was running his "us's fastest street legal mercedes", one of them supercharged ones with nitrous and slicks. I believe running 10 something.
The motorhome he pulls his big trailer with is the same kind that is on MTV's NEXT, the one with contour headlights. Just was sorta interesting to me.
