Whats up guys! After finally getting my car back 4 days ago from being in the shop for 2 weeks, i finally made it to the track for my first time. It was packed so i only got to run twice and since it was my firt time, needless to say i did kinda crappy...my first run i got a little "happy" at the start and dropped at about 2 as usual but then just punched it and spun all thru first, and half thru second......then my second run i did a lil burn out and wasnt used to my tires stickin but i dropped at 2 and then just bogged down and it almost died.......i know the times arent great but im glad i got my first time done with so next week when i go, im 100% positive ill do better and ill definately give you guys the update, anyway no more slackin......here are the slips! SO CLOSE TO 13'S!!! The first run I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, as you were running a 10 second car. Most likely loud as can be which doesn't allow you to hear your own motor reving. I HATE THAT!! The second run, your 60' time wasn't TOO bad, especially for a first time out! All in all, good job! Let everyone know your mod list, and what shot you were running.

yeah, i couldnt hear anything at all...that dragster was SOOOO LOUD!!! it wasnt too bad for my first time out but i just wish i would have done better...oh well, next week for sure!

not bad, after seeing mark dyno at SZ, i decided i'ld go with the venom kit when i did my 3l.....i just don't have the money for a turbo, as bad as i'ld like to have one.

edit: where did you get the underdrive ps\alt pulleys??? i want a set BAD.

I will have updated dyno graphs up next weekend. The car goes on the dyno on Friday, and will be going with the same shot as I hit the 281HP & 289 TQ with, only I'll have enough injector(39# over the 24#'s) to make more power and not run lean. I should eclipse those #'s by quite a bit.

oh about those pulleys, i got the last set that nima had left over from the group buy...i got lucky though cause there was one blue alt and one red p/s so we just pieced them together...


oh yeah, and when i go to the track next week im going to try to get video of it...and if i can, i was just wondering what you guys would rather see....inside view or have someone tape from the side?

You have just about convinced me that nitrous is the way to go with this car. Now only if I had the money.

im at a crossroads right now myself about nitrous. i have the $$$ but am unsure about what mod to use it on. n2o, cf hood, morrettes, flasher, i dont know!

i dont really have any money for any mods haha, im 18 and my girlfriend gets most of my money so im poor lol...ive just gotta have a lil money to fill my bottle for the track this friday...im really lookin forward to it cause i know ill do better than these last ones lol

id rather see an outside shot, so we can see the time and trap at the end of the race.

alright, ill have a friend stand on the side so it'll show me comin towards the camara and then sort of a fly by and ill have him zoom in on the time at the end....
