chili simmering...

blu fuz and thinkmoto look at the birds...

armycontourracer and asystole from rockford...

blackbirdracing's green svt...

everyone next to their cars...

more pics to come including where todras spent the night. hint, see that couch?...

Whose silver SVT is that with the splitter? What suspension setup? I'm just curious as I have a splitter coming and Eibachs already on, I would love for it to look like that.
Posted By: Thinkmoto Re: cows. cars. contours. - 07/25/04 07:40 PM
Mikeys has the splitter ...no clue what suspension setup he has though. yeah the pics of Todras are great

meet todras...

see what todras sees...

todras is an intersting fellow and quite curious, "what is this couch doing here?"

mmmmmmmmmm, looks comfortable...

"lets all take a nap" he says. that is when the rest of us jumped in our cars and raced away.

it really was one of the best meets in a long time. it was great to host the out of town guys who traveled from so far, the regulars, and the new guys. it made for a good mix for sure. here are a few more pics...

Here's some I took. Some of the same angles as Mikey.

And the fastest, least expensive car at the meet. Don't ask me about the handling though.

I don't think the ppl in theater at Bourne Supremacy Sunday night liked Mike's chili but I sure did.

And a big thanks to Davo for the corn fed steaks. They will be going in my belly tonight.
Posted By: SAV Re: cows. cars. contours. - 07/26/04 03:48 PM
Hoooleeeee...crap!

That's funny. Prolly first shot at Todd that's been worthwhile since I've been here.
Posted By: Buckshot77_dup1 Re: cows. cars. contours. - 07/26/04 04:00 PM
Dave, Too funny I saw you on the way back from that meet yesterday. I was on my way home from MAM with the truck and trailer. I saw a silver SVT in Iowa around 4:30, it had to have been you.

Ha! Yeah, we were probably about 20 minutes outside Nebraska when we crossed paths. For some reason I thought that Mustang event was next weekend. How did it go? EDIT: Nevermind, saw it in the other forum.

And Todd -- the big steak is going to have some annoying vein patterns in it, but the steak is good nonetheless. The strip is going to be excellent. I guess it better be good after what we went through to find you a cooler.

Driving home was too...Joe drove past me. So I'm thinking OoO he must know where he is going. So I keep up with him just to make sure. Well we get to about where we need to turn off and I call him up. he's like yeah I know where I'm going I'm like cool later. As I hang up the phone I look up and see him about to pass the exit I start flashing the brights and you see Joe cut across and barley make the exit I'm surprised the car still handles so well with the lead weights...I mean new rims on it J/K Joe

Here are a few pics I took at the meet, sorry it took me so long to get them up but I have been a busy beaver eater!

I'm happy to see that Todd finally got his teeth fixed. Y'all should have seen them before he went to that Dentist from West Virgina.....

haha!

todd had a bit too much fun that day.
Posted By: blu_fuz Re: cows. cars. contours. - 08/04/04 10:05 PM
My crazy antics! HA - Thanks Stazi!(p.s. when do I get my strut tower brace?) Michigan was a blast and I would go there for another meet anytime...

ya ya Tony, I know I almost missed the exit right after telling you I knew where I was going, oh well....

I had the opportunity to talk to tony the day after we left mikey boy's. I was at the car show that I got first place in two years running now.... I was not feeling so well but managed to wash my car and drive 1 hr &15 min at @7:30 to make it to the show.

I went to a party after leaving mikes, and lets just say the chili looked better going in than coming out! That's for damn sure! ha he ha ha FYI - JOE

Stazi the Aussie contact me about getting that strut tower brace if you get a chance to read this! thanks

Posted By: Pre98 Re: cows. cars. contours. - 08/04/06 01:24 AM
Wow I remember when this was first kicking around. A long. Time. Ago. I think this might have been one of the first "meet" threads I had read on here at the time.

When I saw Davo (banned. poor guy) and Todd with the Couch, I had realized this is Uber Dated material

Y'know, I think that might actually look OK if the eyebrows were black too. Give it a real 'scowling' look. Photoshop anyone?

Maybe if it had a little Escort tagging along trying to hump it in the trunk. Wait....was Bert the pitcher in that relationship? Seems to me that Ernie was more of a catcher.
