Goodbye 2000 SVT Daily Driver

Well, I�??ve decided to part with my daily driver 2000 Contour SVT. I thought I�??d share some pictures of the SVT I�??ve driven the most this year.

Looking good with black clearcoat and tan leather interior. 62K miles, no accidents - major or minor, and completely stock with one exception. When I bought the car I installed a Kenwood KDC-5019 Radio (nice motorized faceplate), a Kenwood 6 CD changer in the trunk and Kenwood speakers in the doors. Maybe not much by the standards of the guys who live in the �??Audio�?� forum, but it sounds damn good to me!

This car is a pleasure to drive and if it were not for the fact that I have three Contour SVTs right now (and a bunch of other cars) I would just keep it.

Goodbye daily driver! I�??m just going to leave it in the garage now until it sells. Beside, its time to head into town in my 99 tropic green SVT�?�

Beautiful car though! In amazing shape. Hope the new owner takes care of it just as well.

Wow that car is super clean, rims still look bright and beautiful too.

Well, there's that reason as well!

Unless someone clicks my "Buy it now" on this car, I probably won't bid again on the 9500 mile car. Frankly, that car cannot be much nicer than my 20,000 mile 99 Tropic Green SVT.

That car is filthy.

Ugh darn. I was hoping you'd wait to sell the car until I could afford to buy it. Black/tan is my second favorite SVT color combo (second only to an E0 with T-Red/MNB), and to find an SVT in that condition is next to impossible nowadays. Good luck with the sell!

Well, I guess there's still a market for these! Sold in less than 24 hours with "Buy it now." The new owner is driving out to pick it up Tuesday afternoon, with cash.

I pointed him towards this site, so who knows, maybe he will check in.

I know someone will ask so I'll just tell you: $7,500. A fair price for a super nice daily driver CSVT.

I've been going back and forth on keeping the SVT or not... looks like I'm gonna keep it since I have quite a bit of $ in it, and know it's nowhere near the condition of yours.

I'd be lucky to get $5K for it, and that's after I put another few hundred dollars into it to make it work like it should.

OK - Yup, that'd be ME (and the wife!) $7500 cash will be the deal on Tuesday! I have my rider all set to bring me south!

We drove one of these GEMS about 5 years ago and haven't forgotten about them since!

The one thing I remember about the test drive is that the wife said this car was 'awesome'.

Since I haven't owned a car in 10 years - this car is a natural fit for me. It'll remain my 'daily driver' and hopefully will still turn a few heads!

Glad to be the new owner of such a fine example of an SVT Contour!
