Any recommendations on pressure for 225/50/16 victoracers? I have roush springs and rear sway bar, within stock alignment specs, no aftermarket camber plates.

I would say start with about 40-45 front and 35ish rear and adjust from there based on surface and feel.

Those pressures seem kinda high for those tires. PM SVTFern as he uses Victoracers all the time.

I usually run 38 - 40 on fronts and rears. i have ground controls / konis, 21mm rear bar and far too many other mods to list.

I find the handling of my car to be neutral to almost having a tendancy to oversteer. the car is fast...right Bryan??

My only advice for tire longevity is to rotate them after each session.

i have never taken tire temps so i am not sure if i need to adjust the pressures at this point.

hope this helps.

Fern

BTW Bryan did you send that CD / DVD of Putnam my way?? Has not arrived. Always worry about Customs delays.

thx

I thought you ran lower pressures than that. And yes, Fern = fast! I have been running about 4 - 5 PSI lower on the rears than fronts.

I have been a slacker and have not sent out the video - I will try this week. Did you go to Gingerman last weekend?

I run 40 ft 38 rr on Hoosier R3S04's.

Fern in a blast to ride along with - I was shocked at how much you can do with stock brakes (when he had them).

Fern - you coming to Shannonville?

I will be at Shannonville and will probably be riding on the Avon Tech R tires. Gonna give them a try. Might even try lowering the rear pressures to see what that does.

This time at Shannonville i will see how much better the TCE kit performs.I have been really impressed so far.

See you there.

No R-Componds for me but I'll see how the Potenza RE070's are.

Heh, I'm running 29.5 front, 28 rear on 215/50 R13 Kumho V710s. Life is a dream when you're not in a McStrut car that weighs 3050 lbs.
