Not really a group buy. Someone on e-bay is selling 9 more. It says its for the Focus, but it's the Focus with the MTX-75 so it will fit. After shipping, it's $94.99. US offer only. 7.75% tax in CA.

while that is a good deal, you still need to fab a riser plate for the 98-99's and if you own a 00, you need to fab a plate for under the car.

Just wanted to let everyone know that before they jump on that good deal.

I was going to mention that. But you beat me to it.

How hard would it be to fab a mounting plate...and how much$$ estimate??

I can do the plates for both types (I did the last GB plates). Plates are $12 delivered.

with the fab'd plate, how much better are they if any?? my B&M seems to be doing quite well.

i believe the shifts are the same length. since the steeda actually changes the pivot point, it can afford to be a little longer on the top, so you dont have to reach down quite as far as you do with the b&m.

Hey Scott. I wasn't sure if you wanted a part of this or not so I didn't mention anything. There are only 10 possible units, and I already bought one and spoke with you about the plate. Let me know when you're ready and I can send you the $12

so would they be compatible to the 95's and would it get rid of the reverse lock out?

I don't think it'll work on the 95's. Yours is rod driven while 98+'s are cable driven. ( I might have that backwards).

I'd say they are equal to the B&M's. Keep yours.
