last Aug. Rance tried to start a Mirko GB. They would only lower their price for 20 or more.

Dear Rance,

The splitter is fiberglass and our cost to produce it has gone up, so we have to charge $205 now...we really don't get a cut from our suppliers...maybe with 20 orders we could charge $185 each...Now we will offer a Splitter/Battery Tie Down Strap combo for $240...it's regularly $205 plus $45 or $250 for both, if you all order at same time, it'll be $10 less. The straps come in red, white, blue and silver.

Thanks so much! Business has been slow with this economy, so we appreciate all the orders we can get!

Don't forget we also sell Green Air Filters which are better than K&N; plus our Air Intake; Battery Tie Down; Bushing sets etc.

Good luck with the price drop...better yet good luck getting 20 to all pay. You might get them by next Summer. I called and they had 4 in stock so I ordered it and got it in about a week. Now all I have to do is put it on

If your SVT is already lowered lets say on eibach springs, what kind of scraping/dmg can you expect on them?

LOL some questions are better left unanswered

but since u asked, underneath the mirko will have no paint left on it but since it's under thd car no1 will see it and make sure u take entrences at quite an angle other wise the lip is going to hit and a chunck of it will come off but all in all the fibreglass is pretty tough and my Mirko took a beating and it still looks pretty good.

I just bought one $262 shipped. I've tried getting in many GB's and it never happens. I doubt you'll get a discount inless 20 cegers join

fiberglass mfr, and are looking into other sources - we will let you know
what we can do, my guess is that we could do this many for about $25 off -
like $180...

$180 damn... Either way I am still in. Lets try to get it to $180 though.

That's great...hope you can get 20 to commit and pay. Don't forget the shipping charge of $57, they don't seem to budge on that. I got mine just before X-mas and the box was huge and pretty heavy...very thick cardboard box so UPS can't bash it up

Count on the total being around $237.

The mirko guy will contact me when they have a definate fiberglas company to do the splitters. I dont know about the choice of colors, But yea don't forget about the shipping charges.

Okay Bryan, we heard back from our supplier and we could get them made for your group buy at a retail cost of $190 each (they are currently $205 each in groups of 10)...

I want one as soon as I get my 3.0 swap finished. But Mirko gave you guys the regular price for 10 people when on the website states it only takes 5 orders.

And for 20 people they are giving you only $15 dollars off.

Seems to me they are very tight on prices regardless of fiberglass suppliers.

$5 off per sets of five, wow! that's a group buy discount.

So still we need 20 people for $15 off. Why not send orders in tens since it would be quicker but its $205 each.

I was thinking if I go direct he would have to send me one even if no one ever call in an order for the other four.

And how many guys or on the buy list and how many more are needed for the group buy. May jump on the band wagon so send me some info on how many are left for the buy to go through.

I ended up ordering and buying my splitter last time I tried to get people. Getting 20 people at a fifteen dollar discount probably won't happen.
just speaking from experience with the last gb attempt.

Your better off contacting mirco and ordering it on your own.

They make them in groups of 5...if you really want one is all this hassle really worth $15-$20? $40 or $50 maybe but that isn't going to happen.

In the past it has been hard enough to get the 5 required for the regular price
