what do you guys think about that roof top spoiler found on
the aussie mondeo and the U.K. hatchback mondeo.maybe

i have one on my car i got it from australia!
had it painted to match my car looks great.

will these fit the pre 98's (ie 96 'tour). i've seen one on a 96 before. awesome looking!!

i dont think anything about the rear glass was ever changed between models so i would think there would be no problem fitting...

You have to remember it all depends on the exchange rate at the time. I think I bought mine a couple months after I say jims. It was like $140 with shipping. The part alone is like $40 but the shipping kills it.

well i am in for one. is it shipped by weight or not if not then we could get like 3 in a box of something

$40 for the rear window spoiler? then how does it add up to 100 or 150? i thought the aussie dollar dropped over the year. what if we ship by boat? a few people don't have the money just yet, so this will help with cost and time. after all it's xmas soon.

i like the one on the mondeo, the nonsunshade one. it looks like it runs at the top of the window. the sunshade one leaves a little space from the top of window to top of sunshade.

I think he said someone tried to rip it off and broke it..

It doesn't look like it fits the rear window so will. There seemse to a gap between the top of the spoiler and the top edge of the window. I don't know, guess this seems a little odd to me. Any close-ups or this area?

That's why I asked which one we were going to get.

Here is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.

The spoiler is PERFECT width.....its just hard plastic that the ends wouldn't bend enough to stick....

My understanding as to why it wouldn't fit perfectly is because that spoiler is designed for the five-door or hatchback model that we never got here. Still looks sweet though....

I'm in as long as the price is no higher than the $150 originally discussed.
