This group buy is still on, I have 11 people currently.

If I can get 4 more people, the price will be $105 per wheel.

I can't believe no one has responded. Anyways, like before, I'm interested if the price gets down a bit lower but it doesn't look like it will. That is a bit much to pay for stock rims. Price isn't bad, but when you throw in tires and then having to pay to get them mounted and balanced it turns $450 wheels into 900 wheels

what are the dimentions of the wheel? 17''x 7 or 7.5?

Wheels are 17 x 7, and 21.5 pounds if I remember right.

I got these on my CSVT already and for anyone still on the fence about how they look and/or if they fit, don't worry they look GREAT and they DO fit w/o any problems

Hope this works out for you guys because Diversified Products kicks ass on service. I ordered my FSVT rims on a Wed and got them the NEXT DAY

The total price for my was $560 for (4) rims and S/H, which is unbeatable, well until now that is!

I'm down to 9 people now. What happened to the 20+ people that responded showing interest before CEG went down?

My current list is as follows:

shipping cost is one of my biggest concerns. There are other places to get aftermarket rims for the same price with free shipping. What I am wondering though is if there are multiple people in one area, maybe putting in one order and having them shipped regionally and driving to pick them up from there. I am located 20 minutes south of Boston so if there were 2 or 3 others that were in the area that wanted in on this, we could probably save money on shipping all the orders to one person and then driving to pick them up. Just a thought, I don't want to make this any more difficult than it needs to be.

As far as shipping regionally, I wouldn't mind being the shipping location for New England area folks. We only have meets like every weekend

Maybe we could make a list of people and have them ship all the wheels to a single place...

we have a few people interested. For me it is going to be tough, I NEED new springs struts. I want new wheels to go along with it but I don't think I can afford a $1500 expenditure for both right now. Not to mention I still owe 6k on the car!!!! Nevertheless, I'm still in as of now, perhaps I'll buy the wheels and get tires later.

I hate to rain on your parade but I have heard that the Focus wheels do not look right on the contour and that if they are put on you will need a spacer because the wheels will rub inside.

where have you heard this?
and if you click the above link, there are numerous SVT Contours with the Focus rims on and they look awesome.

Those do look really good on the 'Tours. Makes me wish I had money to buy them. If anyone gets them on a pre98, post some pics. BTW, both of those cars look great. I've seen the striped silver frost on the old boards, that dude's car still looks sweet and even better with the focus rims. As for the red SVT, red calipers, man! They would really show well with those rims.

I'm interested. i have to replace one of my stock wheels anyway and my tires are worn and i need replacements anyway. you guys planning on running the stock tires from the SVT Focus (215/45 ZR 17 Continental ContiSport Contacts)?

so i'm a very strong maybe. i'm wondering about shipping costs too so i'll give them a call.

the company that we are getting these rims though, do they also have the SVTF tires?

if so, can some of us get the whole wheel package (mounted)?

I know that there have never been any svt cougars... but they might still be interested in purchasing a set.

BAT is running a deal on Focus wheels - $475 for 4, not bad at ~118 each.

I called BAT, they won't do a group buy unless 1 person bought all the wheels, then shipped them out to each person, which ends up racking up shipping costs.

I would be in for a set at 105...but the money wont be available for til november.

So, what is the status on this group buy?

So, when can we call and order these? NE-CEG is having thier large fall meet coming up and I'd like to have them on the car for the meet. I want to order them by the end of the week either in this group buy or just through BAT.

I had no idea how good of a price this was! I was at the Ford dealer where I bought my car yesterday and just for the hell of it, asked what they charged for the 17" focus svt wheels. After a couple of minutes the guy came back and with a straight face, told me $309........... per wheel!!!!

I almost [censored] right there on the floor! I managed to hold it in, said thanx and left. WTF do they think they have there?? I wouldn't pay that much if they were made of gold!

isn't BAT charging $475 total for all 4?
