Ok guys i havea friend that owns a crash parts shop here in K town. He said that if we buy 10 sets of lights.. thats left and right. wel get them for only 89.00 each.

let me know so i can have him order them

Nightwolf
its the OEM or aftermarket ?
Give more info. I'm fair more likely to buy them from Bill Jenkins, he has more reputation and trust, no offense.
Highly interested if they are OEM !
I think they are aftermarket, but i i looked at a set side by side to the oem they look spot on. i am going to get a pair for my self and try them out. More to come.

Hey i understand you know i am the new guy here, but here is a general rule of thumb. You can trust a master mason.

???
These come with a warrenty against leaking. If the car is straight then you will not have fit issues IE fenders and hood square and hung right.

depends on who makes them....most aftermarket lights have some fitmant issues....particularly on the drivers side...

i know first hand i wanted to save a few bucks, but i should have gotten oem lights...
You can get them for ~97 from Steve, and just a tick more from Bill from OEM. Aftermarket are known for fitment issues and longevity issues.
There shouldnt be any fit issues IF YOUR CAR IS STRAIGHT.

as i saind i am going to get a set and put them in , thens also come with holders and bulbs, i do know that this company makes most of the OEM lights for the dealers, as far as making them for fomoco i dont know.

I will find out.

I'll just chime in here a bit...

I have been working with Morette from France on test fitting some aftermarket headlights... They've looked at 3 Contours, and every one had the bumper/hood fitted differently.

So pretty much what I'm saying is, if the housings are not an EXACT copy of every dimension of the OEM units, it will be off, especially if the manufacturer molded them to one specific car.
THIS GUY IS TRYING TO OFFER US A GOOD DEAL. WE MAY NOT BE INTERESTED BUT HE IS GIVING US AN OPPORTUNITY. LETS THANKS HIM AND STOP GIVING HIM [censored]. THANKS BIG DADDY KANE. i want to know more info and would probably only need a drivers headlight but thank you. post some pics and we can start talking
Isn't Depo the only manufacturer making these other than Ford? I know I have heard many stories about the Depo units not fitting.

Not thread-crapping, just letting newer members know of fitment issues that we have seen in the past. I think most prefer to stick with OEM and with Bill J. only a phone call away.

Thank you for thinking of us though.
dont buy depot..
get oem or get screwed.

Are those the ones you see on ebay??
I know of another Contour owner that was disappointed in the Depot units. Don't buy Depot......
I got good news these are TYC lights NOT depot. i have been dealing with crash aprts for along time now, and TYC makes some of the best after market lights out there.

Sorry if I was being a bit of a d**k, but just trying to give some constructive criticism...

Yes he's trying to hook CEG up. HOwever, CEG is anal about the few bucks saved in using premium gas, and now, you guys want to save 7 bucks per light for some aftermarket lights when you can get OEM ones for just a tad more? Ok...whatever floats your boat...

where are these depot's everyone keeps talking about lol. i feel so lost
You know if you guys actually READ the posts instead of just seeing after market, shutting your brains off and just blurting out "Depot suck"
So for those that can read ill post it again

The oem's come loaded also with all the lights. I would also shy away from aftermarket lights. It's nice of you to try and do this group buy and you shouldn't feel offended. Somethings you just shouldn't cheap out on, and not just the lights, some of the aftermarket grilles and other trim pieces are awful also.
I have to agree with everyone. It's nice you're trying to help, but OEM is the only way to go with headlights. They're only $20 more for gauranteed fitment, loaded with bulbs, and the dealer (bill j.) has a great track record of customer service.
