This is a group buy for anyone intestesd in aluminum and vinyl Mobil 1 factory fill stickers. These are great for sticking under the hood... I've seen them, and can attest to their quality.
They came with new Corvettes and available
here, for $5 plus shipping, which comes out to about $10 each.
Details: If we get at least 12 people intested, I can order them for $3 each, then ship them out to each person in envelopes which can make shipping really cheap.
So basically around $5 each SHIPPED, depending on what the order total comes to. Bottom line, we need a minimum of 12 interested! There is no maximum, just 12 minimum!

I will place the order February 6th. The very last night to send me money will be Sunday, February 5th, at 11:59am. After that I will not accept any more orders.
When you are ready, paypal $5 to

Lol good idea, that crap is $2.50 a pill and my health insurance didn't cover it because I'm out of my coverage are at college. 
I saved my wisdom teeth, at least the 2nd pair....with knarly roots, almost impacted.....fun time, had to drive home afterwards... The first pair, I experienced laughing gas. It made the experience almost enjoyable.

you mentioned sending these in normal envelopes i would strongly sugest you dont these can get damaged in the machines alot of people send stuff like this through the normal mail and they get destroyed trust me i see them every day im just giving you a little advice im not trying to jack up the price or anything just trying to keep down the headaches

Tooth is gone. Doesn't seem that bad now, but I'm sure it will be once the novicane wears off. I bit my lip, and it is all swollen, so I look like a chipmunk on the left side of my mouth.

Stickers came in today!! They must have liked me, because I ordered them late Monday and I had them in my box this afternoon! I'm working on divideing them up, and sealing envelopes, and printing a few more addresses. Most of them will go out tomorrow morning, so most should recieve them by Monday, some on Saturday. The rest will go late tomorrow, when I get out of class and can go to the post office (more than 2 require additional postage, and I want to check on the Canadian ones before they are sent). Here is a pic of one!
All the stickers except blackbirdracing's and the 2 Canadains went out at 9:30am this morning. The other ones will go out at around 4pm today when I get to the post office.

So unfortunatly, it looks like the only way to send these will be in padded envelopes. Which would require eveyone sending me extra money for the envelopes and postage.

I know, but they are very thin, I would understand if they were any thicker. Someone explain to me why some of them made it, and others didn't, when they all went out at once. None of the actual badges got damaged, only the envelopes. Stamped on the envelopes was:
RETURN TO SENDER Due to Possible Employee Injury and Equipment Damage, Odd Shaped items are Not Acceptable in Letter Style Envelopes, DMM-124
And, they made it through the local sorting machines, but didn't make it through the regional ones in Watertown. I can understand a bottle cap or something, but these aren't much thicker than a few pieces of paper. Anyways, if someone can check at Walmart and let me know how much a big pack of padded envelopes is, I would appreciate it. The closest Walmart is 30 min from here and I don't want to drive if they aren't much cheaper. The badges are 7 1/2" long 1" wide, and about 1/32" thick.
I checked Walmart.com and can't seem to find any envelopes! Do you have a Staples near by? If so, they have padded envelopes for $0.50:

just curious if you have a kinko's or ups store nearby....you could go in and get some padded paks....and you could probably cut each pak into at least 3 or 4 smaller paks,cover any shipping co. info,and tape them up...shouldn't cost more than $1 or so to mail them out...
Ok, not too bad of ideas. I think what the problem was I was sending more than one per envelope; all the single ones made it, and as soon as one with 2 in it went through, it jammed the machine. What I'll try doing is sending out two single ones that didn't make it: one to Christine H. and one to Cody W. If both of them make it safely, then I'll mail everyone else's one at a time, one per envelope, and bite the extra cost of extra envelopes and postage. If they don't make it, then we will have to go the route of padded envelopes, and have everyone send me an additional dollar. I'll try to resend those 2 today.

I could try it again skrilla but the badges might not make it out safely the second time.
Well I ordered 5, they made it.
The envolope was destroyed tape together and most likely destoyed and taped again.
Do everyone a favor and buy some padded envolopes or aleast wrap it in paper towels.
By the way, none of my stickers were damaged.

i dont know about that jamming any sorting machines. ive sent gift cards and other stuff in regular envelopes before.
BBR, that is extremely weird, since I had them send it as a package and not a letter... hence the much higher postage cost. I'll see what happens with the two I mailed today, otherwise we will have to go with extra money and heavier packaging. USPS hasn't been too good recently, I just went through this about a month ago with a PATS key. Got it returned damaged, and the envelope was empty.

Well i found one of these on Ebay for $10.00 it says its for a camaro but i have one from an SE-R and it fits fine ( no leeking at all) so ill see if it fits on my car ( i think it would be cool to have a sticker and oil cap match but thats just me) and let yall know. If anybody has already tried then i fill stupid

Ok everyone, I've posted info on this numerous times. I'm starting to get a bit irritated by repetitive questions. For the last time:
1. The only people who should be PMing me about these badges are the ones who originally placed an order, and ARE NOT ON THE RETURNED LIST.
2. Stop asking me if you can still get in on the GB. There is an interest only thread for the second GB. Read the directions in that.

Because 1. They won't work in an envelope. The thickness is an issue, not the weight. 2. I need to go out and buy bubble envelopes. 3. I need to buy additonal postage, all the ones that got returned had their stamps cancelled.

I should be going to get some envelopes tomorrow at Walmart or Staples. I should have them mailed tomorrow, or Wednesday. I am only going to mail the people that paid me the extra $1.50. This is the only way to do it fairly.
A few points I wanted to make:
1. I'm not making any profit on this. MAYBE $.25 on a badge at most. With the cost of the lost badges I have to personally make up, I'm probably loosing money. So please don't complain about this.
2. If don't want to pay this extra money, don't. PM me, and tell me to refund you. I'll send your $5 back. You can order your own badge, but expect to pay about $15 for one badge.
3. When you pay me the extra money, I'll send out your badge. Simple as that.

I checked out the dollar store, and they have 6x9 padded envelopes (a little big...) 2/$1. Is this worth it, or should I make the drive to Walmart? My car had a few misfires and threw a CEL yesterday, so I was in no mood to drive 40 min to Walmart.
Depends...will the extra $1.50 cover these envelopes plus the new postage? If so, might not be a bad idea if it saves you some driving.

Walmart would def. be cheaper OR check with Office Max or Office Depot for their store brands of shipping supplies...
even the grocery store sells these things for dirt cheap.
It's just a bubble wrap envelope. Staples is overcharging for them IMO.

Yes, that is why I got one of these badges.
Turns out when I washed my car awhile ago, water got down in the spark plug wells- a lot of water. I had to let it dry out, then replaced the spark plugs for good measure. Just FYI for anyone with a Zetec...

why not just cut each 6x9 into 2,so that way each 2 you buy really makes 4....just tape it up real good,and might be a little cheaper since each is smaller

I just paypal'd you the extra $1.50,. I got the envelpoe today but there were no badges inside of it and there was a big tear in the front of it. It was also sealed in a bag from the USPS saying my mail was found loose or damaged(if you don't believe me I'll be more than happy to forward it to you unopend so you can see)..

Ok even better, the badges were next-day shipped to me. I have everyone's now. The dollar store only has 1 or 2 envelopes, so I'm going to make a trip to Walmart. Probably Friday, since I have non stop classes today and tomorrow. I will mail these out Friday!!!!!!

I stayed up till 3:30am last night getting these ready to go. All of them are wrapped in bubble wrap, and then put in a double padded envelope. No chances this time! I'm off to the post office within the next 2 hours (they are going to hate me when I walk in with 28 envelopes needing postage
) so:
If you live on the east coast, you should have it Monday.
Middle of the country, Tuesday.
West coast, Wednesday.
These are of course estimations. So check your mailbox soon for these!

PLACING THE BADGE IN BETWEEN TWO SIMILAR SIZED PIECES OF CARDBOARD WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS.

Yes I know, Tom gave me that idea from the SVT build badges. The big problem I had was the only cardboard I had was either too thick to cut or too thin to make a difference. The bubble wrap took long enough doing 30 envelopes.
