Hello,
i came across this awesome little device on antoehr automotive website i am a member of. They had a group buy last year and got a nice price. I missed out on that group buy so I figured i would post on here and try to start one on CEG. Here is the website of the device and all it can do. ScanGauge It basically tells you all about your engine and will work for any OBD II vehicle (96 or newer). The price on the website says $129 shipped, but on the other group buy the manufacture sold the scangauge for $99 shipped. I think the minimum to get that price was 15 people. If your interested, please post, after I get about 10 names I will contact the manufacture and work out a deal.
thanks!

Depending on when the group buy occurs.
I would defiantly be interested. Need a little time to put together sum cash.
Ive been looking for something like this for some time now
Its pretty cool gizmo
So not only do you get a scan type tool, but you also get a
trip computer and multiple gauge readout in the same box.
More stuff in less space is always good.

I've seen it before (about a year ago), but it was about $100 more. For $99 I would be interested.

Well, once i get 10 people interested, I will start negotiating wih the manufacture. i should be able to run the group buy for ample time for people to get money together, but i can't promise you anything until I talk with the manufacture.

Too bad the gauge doesn't look permanent... looks more like a snapon scanner.

If this was what it looked like, then I'd probably be in (too bad it's ISO-OBDII -- not for our cars)

People do mount it permanently in vehicles. It shows it mounted on the manuf. website and on thge other board I am a member of some of the guys mounted it in their center consoles.

I understand that it's to be mounted in the car, my comment was that it didn't look that good (more shop-like)... and that if it were better looking (like the picture I posted) I might be interested. Though, if I didn't have a datalogger, I would be very interested despite looks.

Anyone else?

How about a group buy for a AFC? I mean a AFC does everything that this does(except code retrival) and it also allows you to 'tune' your engine. If you really want a code scanner, they are only $30 at walmart.

I'm interested. However, how do we know that is has full functionality with our cars? Clicky!
I think it does since on my scan tool it shows fuel pressure, and vehicle speed. Just checking though!

Well, i would gather that since the contour is not listed on that list, that it shuld have all of the major functions available. I will see if I can find more info on it
