See the thing is, It's almost impossible to find indiglow SVT gauges. I've been looking and even when i thought i found some they had been discontinued. So my friend there is no need for your non-svt gauges in a GB becuase you can find them all over the internet!

This will be for SVT's only. Its my understanding that there are non-SVT guages still being made. If not, I'm sure these guys would start a model development for you under the same terms.

Goonz mentioned shipping in the other thread. These will ship out from streetracingparts directly to the buyers. I'm waiting on them to give me an idea of the average shipping costs.

Since they haven't made them yet, no. You can look at guages for several other vehicles at their website.

I believe we should go with the indiglo style because just incase they start re-selling the HVAC, then we'd be all set. I think those other reverse style Halo whatever are kinda ricey, indiglow is a clean look IMO. I want Indiglows!!

I guess if it comes down to it, I'll sway towards indiglos, although I'd much rather have halos.

what's the difference between SVT and non-SVT gauges? I never found any difference between SVT gauges and non-SVT gauges, in fact, there's even people putting SVT gauges in a non-SVT car.

SVT speedo reads up till 160, regular v6 reads up till 130

The speedometer is different, IIRC the redline on the tack is different, 'SVT' is stamped in the middle of the tach, the fuel guage says 'premium fuel only'.

Not to be picky but if we wanted 6 color, just the inverter needs to be changed? I have a 6 color inverter laying around, would this work for these?

These are 2 color(blue/green). IIRC, the sell 6 color inverter upgrades on their site. I honestly dont know if the one you have would work or not. You may want to email them telling them what you have to see if it would work.

This kinda scares me, for some reason i just feel like we are all going to get screwed over here. At least we'll all go down together

I'd be in for the standard indiglows plus HVAC only as long as they are true blue. I have the 6 color SVT gauges and the darkest blue is still a blue-green color. That's why I'm interested.

Anyone who remembers this (don't click "Show All", its 823 posts!) knows how frustratingly desperate I've been to get a set of gauges and close the 1BADTOUR saga. In the back of my mind I seem to remember an attempt to get this going through the same company a while back, but I can't find the thread.

How hard are the gauges to install? They look pretty cool, but I don't want to crack my dash in half putting them in. I'd also be looking for the standard indiglos for a 2000 SVT.

It's not a hard install. Just taking out a few screws and what not. There is a how to around somewhere. Actually there is a really good one on FCO (Ford Contour Dot Org).

They hadn't emailed me back about shipping yet, but I looked through their site and found it listed that their standard shipping cost is 8.00 per guage UPS.

To whoever asked about how blue they are:
They dont have any pictures of the SVT guages, but they do have many similar guages pictured on their site. It should at least give you an idea of what they look like.

These guys seem to be a reputable company. I had ordered one of their HVAC panels earlier in the week and it came today. Its a quality piece, probably even factory quality. Its not EL, but it is a nice thick panel, with transparant blue/red lettering. I'll get a scan up later.

This looks like the best bet we will get. No CEG member will be handling money or product, so we have that going for us. On the off chance that we do get screwed, knock on wood, don't be upset with me. I'll be going down with the rest of you.

Heres a pic of their HVAC panel. The more I look at it, the more I'm impressed with it. Its not an overlay. It replaces the stock HVAC panel.

Yeah we need 10 people... We are obviously going with the standard indiglows, which is great! SO, we need to come to an agreement with the_spy_guy and NY2000SVT that the standard indiglows are what we are going with and whether or not that will be okay.

Well I don't need the gauges but I would like just an HVAC if possible.

The GB is primarily on the gauges right now. We are not even certain if the HVAC is possible yet.

I'm in only if HVAC's are also available...try and make it a package deal. If they are willing to make them get them to make a complete set of Gauges and HVAC...this way they will match. If you want to take it one step further also add the Light switch plate as well in the complete kit. If you get the gauges you will ultimately end up wanting the HVAC and also want to convert all your interior lighting to blue LED's. Green and blue just don't look good together.

I just wanted to let everyone know here, i posted some links for Indiglo gauges for the CSVT in the General Mods section. They have a 2clr. 5clr. and 6clr indiglos. Im not sure if they have the HVAC indiglo face, but they do have the white and carbon fiber overlay for like $15. Just a fyi

None of those links have the SVT gauges. Yes they do have gauges for contours... but there are a few changes with SVT and Non.
SVT- speedo goes to 160, stamped w/ svt on tach, fuel gauge says premium fuel only... and i think something about redline (i dont know)
Non SVT- speedo goes to 130 (IIRC) tach stamped with V6.

All i am saying is there are differences AND if these links really had these SVT indiglow gauges. Trust me, i think a large amount of SVT owners would have them. These SVT Indiglows need to be specially made, Hence the GB.

For them to do the HVACs, all ten+ people will have to get them with the main guages. I don't want the HVAC, that is writen in stone. Since we have the majority of the people needed, I'm going to call on monday to have them list the buy-in on their site. If you guys want, I can have them start a buy in for HVAC El's as well.

To recap what I said in the thread already, money will be given to streetracerparts.com directly through their website. No CEG member will be handling the money or the guages. They will ship out from SRP directly to the person who bought them. Credit cards will not be billed until the 10 people needed buy in through the site. If you look at the link posted in the begining of this thread, it tells you a time frame for the guages to be made.

everyone who is contemplating better get in on this. I as well as MANY others have been waiting for so long only to come up w/ nothing. This would be a great mod and who knows when another GB will be. Besides 50some bucks isn't anything when you talk about a piece that stands out so much and makes a huge compliment to your interior.

Question: These gauges WILL have the engraved "SVT" on the tach and go to 160mph right (i.e. identical to stock)? If not then im going to have to decide if I want them.

Its not indiglow, its just an overlay, I would call them but I know its not Indiglow.

I cant waith for this, it'll be soooo awesome, hopefully the HVAC goes well too

The one you ordered looks to be the exact one SRP is selling for ten bucks cheaper(see the scan of mine in this thread). I noticed the website you listed has a lowest price gaurantee. You might want to email them and see if you can get $10 refunded.

They said they sold SVT specific guages before, so I'm assuming they know to put it on. I'm calling on monday to tell them to post the buy in. I will double check before they start it to make sure that the guages will have all the SVT specific features.

Ok. I just got the phone with these guys. One thing that they neglected to tell me through all of this was that even though they at one time produced the SVT guages, they don't have a template to use for producing these.

We have two options. The first is send them a set of SVT guage faces to use. The second is to let them track down a set and divide the cost of that set among the buyers. I'm not keen on the second idea since we don't know how long it will take them to find a set and what it will cost. In the mean time, I'm going to try and find a set to send them. If anyone has a set laying around, please let me know. I apologize to everyone, I didn't know this was going to be an issue.

On a side note, it looks as if they may be able to start a buy in for the HVAC's. They had to check to make sure and are going to get back with me.

waiting for the latest news....can;t wait for some indiglos. Hopefully we have enough for both the gauges and HVAC!

If they are just using the SVT gauge as a template, i'm sure we can find someone to temporarily donate one. I mean... i'm sure some people have these sitting around or in the classifieds... OR wa2tuff

Another thing perhaps we should create two seperate lists for the gauges and the HVAC, i think it would keep things a little cleaner...

There are currently 9 wanting both Gauges and HVAC

I say get a price for the complete 3-piece kit and see how many would be in then. I bet you would get at least 20 if it's under $100.

I already have the 6-color Indiglo Gauges and lost money for gauges/hvac in the failed GB last year. I will probably get both since there is a chance they would not match the color of my current set. I'll just sell my old set...only paid something like $25 off ebay anyway fro Elglow. But I'm also in the hole for ~$80 on the last GB

pardon my ignorance on the indiglos b/c ive never used them or was in a car that had them. How do you switch the colors? Is it controlled by the dimmer switch, or do you have to wire up some other switch. I hope not. I wouldnt want to have another switch on my dash.

I have my HVAC panel out of my dash and would offer the OEM overlay up for this GB just to get it through. I wouldn't need it after the indiglows' are made....right?

I don't think they're going to need a HVAC, but if they do, I have my stock HVAC that I can send them.

They all wire together and use the same inverter and switch. Also if you have a Lotek gauge pod and have SunPro Faze Night Glow gauges they also use the same connectors and can be tied in as well

how hard do you think it would be for them to make KPH ones as well? i wouldnt think it would be too big a deal to put the KPH on the outside and the MPH on the inside once you have the design/gauge sizes figured out. i could be in for a set if that was the case.

It was posted earlier in the thread that the standard indiglow is what we are going with.

BTW, noone is argueing. I'm just trying to keep the GB organized so it works. ALot of people are looking forward to it.

what are we looking at for prices?

Just got off the phone with them. They're going to try to list the buy-in for the Gauges and the HVAC in the next few days. They're going to let me know when they are posted. They can start production once they recieve the stock gauge cluster and 10 people sign up. They also need me to email them some pics of underneath the HVAC bezel so they have an idea of wire locations. I will take care of that tonight.

great news! For those of you feeling nervous I wouldn't. The company seems reputable. And its not like your giving the money and having to trust another CEG'r that you don;t know. I think Id sleep a little better at night knowing that my $ is in the hands of a company not some Joe Shmoe. Plus you will b able to see when your charge card is charged. If you go to the website and look at the "buy-in's" there are quite a lot of ppl doing the very same thing we are. All this being said you have to have a little bit of trust when it comes to modding the tour...I think everyone knows that.

Question: What if you dont have a credit card? Can you still be able to get put in on the buy in and send a money order or check when the production starts? Not sure if you will be listed in the buy in if you leave a required field blank (credit card #) empty on the website. Perhaps you can just call them and give them your info so that they know your a serious buyer and send payment once the production begins. Jason do you know the answer from speaking w/ them?

I was thinking last night about how I hafta pay $150 to get my front bumper re-painted and then I look at this GB for $90. I had to go with one for the time and I'm sorry I chose the bumper because that is somthing that just needs more attention then anything else. I know this chance may not come later on but u never know.

Go to here. Just read the parts that pertain to the "Green Dot Prepaid Credit Cards". You'd want the Everyday Card. The rest is for the regular Radio Shack credit card. You can't get a specific amount--they are only sold in certain amounts. I can tell you what the amounts are tomorrow. They're a good way to get a c/c without any credit check and they won't get you into trouble cause you're only spending what you put into them.

Do we know for sure if they are doing the HVAC? Also-Do we have a place to send the money yet...did I miss it? I know u said it goes straight to the company, but I think I missed the link somewhere. If there isn't one, keep us posted then.

could we perhaps get an interest check for ppl that may be interested in also including the "headlight/foglight" switch in indiglo. I know there have been many attempts and GB's for this but none have been successful. It would be awesome if we could get all 3 for say a flat $100 + shipping. What do you guys think? I'll try to see if they can do the HL overlay, but I'm almost possitive they're going to need a headlight switch to use as a template.

I agree 100% but it will be pretty hard to get people to agree on this becuase some only want gauges or just the HVAC because they already have the other things. That is why i suggested doing these all as seperate GB's. The package deal just won't work IMO. But if it did that would be fantastic.

I say get a price for the complete 3-piece kit and see how many would be in then. I bet you would get at least 20 if it's under $100.

I already have the 6-color Indiglo Gauges and lost money for gauges/hvac in the failed GB last year. I will probably get both since there is a chance they would not match the color of my current set. I'll just sell my old set...only paid something like $25 off ebay anyway fro Elglow. But I'm also in the hole for ~$80 on the last GB

The Headlight panel would not be a problem, we would obviously need a template panel for that though.
We could add it to the AC Panel Development, but it would be an extra $24 for it as it is basically a whole nother panel.
Let me know if you need us to add it and I will have it done, and the total price for the whole set (AC panel & Headlight Panel) will be $58.99.

The transformer won't last too long. Unfortunately I have 5 different transformers in my car, but that was the only way for the indiglos to look right and brighter.

I went to the site and clicked on the HVAC buy in and the pic at the top seems to only be flashing from white to blue...no green (aka no 2 colors like the gauges). Will the HVAC be 2 color as well, and also the light switch?

2ndly, we can wire all 3 parts to the same resisitor so that they match correct? Also if we buy the 6 color resisitor would we be able to wire all 3 to the same so that all 3 have the matching 6 color?

Lastly, where is everyone plan on running the wires for the light switch and HVAC? i definatly DO NOT want to be seeing wires. I've seen pics of indiglo's in ppls cars but never up close so thats why Im asking this. Im sure there is a way everyone does it but since I have never seen it done its new to me.

I was reading some people have a transformer for the guages. Do you need this? Or can you power it off the existing wiring? He mentioned it was brighter with the transformer. Any body have pics of with transformer and without?

How can the HVAC & Headlight Panel cost more then the Gauges. The Gauges are at least twice the material as the HVAC and the tiny Headlight panel. Do they even know how small these pieces are? This is why I said to try and get a complete set for one discounted price. If they want to sell the pieces separate as well for a higher price that is fine. The complete set (gauges, HVAC, headlight) should be under $100 shipped. It does not sound like you tried to negotiate a "complete set" for a discounted price? This appears to be what most of the participants wanted. If you don't want to deal with this option that is fine just let us know and somebody else can negoitiate with them for a package price. If this is the case I have no problem taking to them...please let us know ASAP.

I don't like the idea of paying an extra $10 for the headlight switch either but these are specially made products I've been trying to get for 2 years--as have alot of other people. Concerning the HL switch price... I called yesterday evening about this. The reason it was listed as $35 was because of it being listed separately from the hvac panel. The price of $25 was a discount for it being sold together with the HVAC. I told them to list it separately from the hvac because there were people who only wanted one or the other, not knowing that this would increase the price. I called yesterday told them to go ahead and relist the hvac and HL switch together as a package. So anyone who has already signed up for either one must sign up again for the package. You will not be charged for the for the single hvac or HL switch. I will post the updated link as soon as they send it to me.

We have to wait for them to send me a new link for the combined HVAC and headlight switch buy-in. Everyone who wants the HL switch and hvac will have to re-send their info. It doesn't matter what order you sign up. They should all go out at the same time.

Don't delay. If you can grab one for pretty cheap (shouldn't be more than a few bucks) do it. We havn't had anyone volunteer to donate an extra one as of yet so the faster we get one the sooner these parts go into production.

Same thing I just said....but for the HVAC. Not sure if we have a donor for that piece yet either.

They don't need one for the hvac.

SRP just got back to me with the updated HVAC/HL link. They also decided to give us the option of buying the hvac and hl switch separately, but at a higher cost.

Hey! I would have signed up, but he said they were changing the links to include both the HVAC/HL together, so I was waiting on that. As of now I am signed up for both! I've been looking for a long time for glowing HVAC. I'm not gonna let this slip away that easy!!

So you guys are now at 10? I just received SVT indiglows from another company so I won't be needing these now. However, I commited to doing this GB with you guys, if you still need my buy-in, I will purchase another set.

We unfortunately cannot break the price anymore than we have already.
$25 is the price break, as otherwise it would be $34.99 just for the headlight panel.
We run our car gauges differently than our AC Panels, so it is a separate production, hence we cannot offer them as a bundle as they are not made as sets.
While we would love to offer the panel for less of a price so as to benefit our customers, we simply cannot as we would then be losing money ourselves.
It seems that the majority of the people are willing to pay that price as we have 7 buyins all of whom want both panels.
I am sorry that we cannot do more for you, but Model Developments are a risk for us, as we never know if items will sell afterwards, so we cannot give discounts based on our risk.

On another note...they are moving quickly on this since we have shown so much interest. They told me on the phone that they are working with two of their manufacturers to see who can get them done the quickest.

I might be able to donate mine besause my speedo has just stopped working and I need to replace my cluster. I need to wait and see how much a new one is and when I could get it installed

I've never done it before, but I believe it is just 2 screws at the bottom of the HVAC panel trim, right above the stereo. I think you just unscrew those and the panel has clips that unclip by just pulling the trim forward.

But never done it before, so I may be wrong.

To get to the HVAC the radio should be pulled but somehow you may be able to get around it. Pulling an aftermarket HU in these cars is simple, it just slides right out. Once that is out, there are 4 screws right underneath it, unscrew those and that whole piece will pop off. You have to yank on it pretty good to get it off the clips. That's it.

If i had to rate it from 1 to 10, 10 being the hardest, i'll give it a 2.

I am now registered for all 3 pieces. The gauges have 10 out of 10, and the hvac and hl have 7 out 10. I just bought in today so thats atleast 8 out of 10. We are well on our way here, now we just wait for the templates to arrive!!

I'm not sure how we are all spread out geographically, but was curious if a handful of folks, not to far from one another, would like to get together and knock out 4-5+ cars some weekend.

As far as I know, the price wont go up, buy I'll try to find out for sure.

When I spoke to them last week... it sounded like they were hoping to start production towards the end of this week. Though they were waiting for the hvac template so they could send all 3 off to their manufacturer at the same time.

Even though you may have 10 people, can more still buy em? Im debating whether I want these indiglos, or just make my own custom LED gauges...

Yes, you can still buy these. And i would advise it, these kinda GB's don't come along that often. Also the results with LED guages have been pretty poor from what i've seen.

I'm just waiting to finish my interior LEDs before I buy-in for the HVAC and HL switch.

If the HL switch looks good with just the red LEDs then I won't buy the HL switch. I will just buy the HVAC overlay.

If the HL swithc looks like crap with the LEDs, then I'm gonna buy both the HL switch and the HVAC overlay.

ok... just spoke with them. They're waiting for pics of the headlight switch so they know where they can tap the power. They said they'll start shipping 3-4 weeks after they get that. They also said they'll be making 50 of each part, so they'll have some overstock!

They have enough 'buy-ins' to get it started... just waiting on those pictures before they send anything to manufacturing. I'm sending my MO to them today anyways...

If someone has a good quality digital camera, could you call SRP to see what exactally they need pictures of so they can get started?

I was dissapointed the way mine turned out. I went back to the 6 color indiglo. That's why I'm in on this GB. I'm hoping it'll be better with everything matching.

what year svt's will work with the indiglos that will be made from the 98 svt gauges. thinkmotos parts cars are both 98's which means there will be differencres with the 'normal' on the temp gauge as well as the brake light beng in a different location. there may be more differences that i'm not aware of. so which year svts will these indiglos work with being that the donor set is from a 98

My parts car is a mid year 98.5 EO/E1 mutt car. Has some E1 componenets and some EO stuff too. I didn't know of any differences. If ther are then maybe you should send in your guages

It makes no difference what cluster is used to model the indiglos. They are just overlays.

For example:

If a E0 cluster is used to model the overlays, then that means the overlays will probably say NORMAL on the temp gauge.

If a E1 cluster is used, it will not say that.

What I am getting at is that it is nothing but a sticker going over the stock gauges so it might look just slightly different but it will work on all year clusters.

I bought a set of indiglo gauges off eBay a while ago and they are modeled after an E0 cluster, so they match mine perfect. My friend bought the same set for his 98.5 and they work fine also. Just instead of his temp gauge not saying anything like it did originally, it now says NORMAL on it.

I think you get the point.

You do not actually replace the plastic on the gauges, HL switch, or HVAC. It is a thin piece of plastic that lays over the exsisting plastic, and it just glows.

Therefore the term Indiglo Overlays.

Once they recieve the gauges will they be ready to go for everything? Do they have the HL & HVAC already? I hope so, I want to buy my new wheels and tires but need to ensure i have enough cash in the account!

I'm just as impatient as anyone else, but we have to remember this GB has only been on for one month. It takes time for companies to get moving on these things, especially since they are starting from scratch. The GB gone bad last year was handled very poorly compared to this one. We are being kept aware of what's going on and I think we all appreciate it very much. Just keep doing what you're doing and we should all try to keep everything in perspective. (Even tho waiting is not one of my strong traits.)

I just got an email from streetracerparts.com. I think they charged my card... anyone else? It says its for the "both ac and gauges" at a charge of $64.99. I am confused... I thought there were too seperate buy ins. One for the gauge and the other for the HVAC and HL switch? Anyone else get this?

Jason, have you got word from them that all 3 parts are now under construction? I know before they said they won't charge any CC's untill production begins so I was just wondering if they gave you "the word" that they are now under construction, since you are kinda acting as the middle man btw the co. and CEG.

I would assume so. They already had a HVAC. According to Hetfield, Fedex delivered the gauge cluster the other day and the headlight switch was sent out a while back. I'll try to find out for sure. And like I said above, keep checking the buy-in page on their site for updates.

I got my confirmation today too but I dont know if I'm to be happy or sad. I'm thinking of selling the tour and saving a large down for a Shelby when they come out in late 2006 or early 2007

I dunno just my personal pref i guess, to each their own. I guess the way i see is I dont want to see all those warning light symbols unless they are "lit up" for a reason.

sorry i'm jumping in on this late. i got some questions and input too.

i ordered indiglos from sr like 2 years ago but they didnt fit when i tried to install them. the quality is good but their design was bad. i'd be willing to donate them back to s/r but they MUST change the wiring placement and make them 2 main gauges instead of 4 (i'll explain)

all they would have to do is copy the indiglos they've already made in the past.

lemme explain something. the indiglos that everyone already has was made as 2 main gauges, meaning the tach and temp gauges was made as one indiglo gauge with one wiring output to the transformer. and the same goes for the speedo and fuel gauge. s/r made each of these an individual gauge meaning that one transformer will power all 4 and you wont have room to plug in the hvac and the headlight (pls dont start that this is the wrong way to do it, we've all heard the arguments). anyway, s/r placed the wiring for the gauges in the wrong spots. when i contacted them, they swore their gauges get tested and installed before actually selling them and shipping them. i say bs. they wiring would jut out from one gauge into the space of the neighboring gauge not allowing the neighboring gauge overlay to sit flat. there was no way in hell that the gauges were going to be installed properly. (i'm far from stupid; i knew exactly what i was doing and can easily tell that a cirle wont fit in a square opening) they wouldnt refund my money either. they've sat in my bedroom since then. i was lucky enough to get in on one of cardoc's gb. his gauges were made correctly as 2 main gauges with the wiring connection at the towards the bottom right and left of the tach and speedo, respectively. i just took a pic to show u guys. can someone host it on here.

if they make them this same way (if they havent smartened up) u guys r gonna need to run at least 2 transformers: one for the 4 main gauges and one for the hvac and headlight with 2 open plugs on the 2nd transformer. if they make the 4 main gauges as 2 gauges as i described, then u guys can run one transformer. i have the 4th plug open on my transformer and i've been waiting to use it for the headlight switch.

that said, i'm interested in the headlight switch. i clicked on the link and it had only the hl/hvac set and that i'd need to start a new production for either item. is this correct. the spots where cardocs hvac and main gauges have the wiring are perfect. i took a pic of my spare hl switch pointing to where the wire should be attached, but basically to the right of the overlay and centered. the hl switch side is flat there so the wire should be easy to bend back for installation.

i wouldnt mind trading the 4 s/r main gauges for a headlight gauge if sr can use the gauges to improve them. should be easier for them than making a template off the gauge cluster. they didnt want to listen to me the first time around. also i have an extra headlight switch that i bought just for this very purpose, if its still needed.

and i also have the hard copy install directions for the indiglos that were originally on fco. i dont know if they are still on there. they actually show a great pic of the speedo/fuel indiglo gauge and what s/r "should" make it like and where to place the wiring connection.

also the white "dummy" overlays are a bit too much. they did come with my lights and i only used them for the left/right turnsignal at the top. i think they look understated this way. plus the traction control overlay has a typo and the abs & oil lights were put in the wrong place. they have to be swapped on the overlay. another reason to not use the dummy overlays.

i'd be more than willing to scan the install instructions. i can likely put them up in my webshots acct which is in my sig

Can someone contact SR to find out if they have corrected this problem w/ the wiring, transformers, etc.?!?

No one wants to spend over $100 on all this if its going to be a problem and not work properly.

Also the pics HMOUTA took could add to the effectiveness of SR fixing the problem. Someone needs to act fast as they sent me an e-mail yesturday and said the set will start production tomarrow (today)

Guess no one is worried about what HMOUTA said. As long as everyone is happy w/ gauges that may not fit and not work then ok. I myself would call and speak to them about the possible problems, however, I am not very knowledgable on the subject of indiglos and how they function so it would pretty much be pointless. If someone knowledgeable on Indiglos wants to call to make sure these are being produced right then great. If not all you who have been charged on your CC may be waisting your $.

I have 3 other sets of indiglows from 3 other companies that are fk'd up and collecting dust in my closet. These companies wouldnt accept returns btw, told me all sales were final. If S/R sents me a fk'd up pair and doesn't refund me, I'll be taking a drive to their office for sure.

Which is EXACTLY why im saying someone knowledgeable on this subject NEEDS to speak to S/R and make sure these are being done right. If not you all who ordered are going to be screwed over.

How the hell did you find those? Sooo many people have been looking for the longest time and turned up nothing. My guess is that when you order those, they will say they are no longer in stock, kinda like other places.

Same ones I have as well...I got mine from a buisness on eBay for about the same price. The greens are nasty and the blue isn't quite blue enough for me. The have been in my car for the last 2 years.

When I did mine for my Zetec from procarparts.com, It was pretty easy. I just slid mine around the needle (very carefully) and the rest was cake..now I would assume it would be the same for these. The only prob I had was the first time I glued them on, I had a couple of small raised spots on the speedo guage and the needle kept sticking, took it back apart, re-glued, haven't had a prob since.

There are a bunch of old post about this and the different way people went about getting the needles back in the correct place. You can also go to a dealer and have them re-calibrate your tach and speedo if you like for about $60+/-

I wasn't able to slip the gauges over the tach or speedo needles. I just got the RPM needle to what I thought was right and adjusted on the car (set at what should be correct idle and see if it shifts around redline). Then I paced someone at 35 and placed needle on speedo (didn't press hard enuff so it's sorta bouncy when bass hits, but it doesn't change accuracy). We then checked at around ~60 if it was correct with that same car and another. The dealer I contacted (good dealer) said (and the guy replied at 12:15am, I had sent the email at midnite) that he couldn't do anything as far as calibration goes, but gave me contact info for a company that might could. I posted the info a long time ago, and don't have it stored in my emails or I'd post it again.

Why not. The ones that I had puchased off of E-Bay for my SVT slid right on over the needles. All I did was position the temp and tach needles to point in the same direction and the gauge face slid right on over. You can pull the tach & speedo neddle stops out along with the trip meter reset button to make it much easier.

I remember reading a how-to on this and it said you do not need to remove the needles. I will need to find this.

According to SRP, they are designing the faces to be installed without removing the needles. This is why they needed a complete cluster and not just the gauge faces.

The whole point of me having to ship them a cluster was for them to test fit the gauges and make sure we didn't have to remove the needles to put them on. Granted it only cost me $6 to ship, but it would be a lot of wasted time if that step ends up being worthless. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

When I installed my gauges a while back on my SVT, I did have to remove the tach and speedo needles. There was no way possible for them to fit over the needles.

I'm not saying that these will be the same way because it is a different manufacturer. It all depends on how large they make the holes for them.

If the holes for the needles are to big it will show and look like junk. The set I currently have there is no way to tell other then the new night time color.

This is not a concern for me...it wasn't a big deal at all. I would rather they fit propperly even it removing the needles is required then make them sloppy to avoid this step

I've had the 6 color gauges for awhile and like others have said, the blue isn't blue enough. They went on without removing the needles. Wasn't easy, but they worked. You put the needles through first (since they're aready pointing left), slide the opening down so the lip on the left goes under the round base of the needle. Keep sliding to the right and the right side of the opening will slide over the top right edge of the needle's base. Kinda wordy but I think you should get the idea. The opening was just the size of the needle's round base so it wasn't too big. Hopefully these will be designed the same way.

all these indiglos are supposedly made to install without removing the needles. but the needles do have a little butt that will catch the indiglo. i kinda had to force mine on and when they light up u can see the small gouge lit up. its minor. after all that, my needles were off anyway. i had to pull the tach and speedo regardless. u guys are sweating this part and its not a big deal. in order to put the doublesided tape on the back side of the main gauges, i highly recommend removing the 2 main needles. once installed, let your come warm up to idle for maybe 20 minutes, it should be at 750rpm. put on the tach needle at this. then u can use an obd2 scanner to get the speedo needle. or take the car on the hwy, find the mile markers. pace someone at 60mph and set your cruise control. put the needle on and test it. it should take u 60 seconds to go from one mile marker to the next. if your off adjust the needle accordingly. this is tricky to do while driving so be careful. having an obd2 scanner while doing this would help alot. putting the speedo needle on zero in your driveway will not work. it'll be off. the speedo and tach needles dont put them on all the way down. they'll definitely stick so put them on lightly and doubleside the tape to the svt gauges. then place the indiglos over

the fuel and temp gauges should be fine.

1) your supposed to use double sided tape to hold the indiglos to the stock gauges? Is this noticable at all w/ the gauges turned on or off?

2) The ODB2 scanner at Advanced that they let you use for free to check codes cant be used to recalibrate your spedo can it? I tried one time (first time ever using one) and it seemed as though I could not use any other functions beside the "code reader"...anyone try it before?

No, it's not noticable.

Taking off the needles wasn't a big deal for my mustang. A pair of pliers and they popped right off.

the double sided tape is a just a recommendation. it helps keep the overlays flat so the needles dont get stuck on a possible bump if the overlay isnt flat. the tape isnt noticeable. your more than welcome to use superglue but that would be a permanent mod. i think i read of some guys doing that.

i'd guess the parts store code readers do just that, read codes. i've never used theres so i dont know what that procedure is. i have my own scanner

your two fingers will get the needles right off. pliers definitely not needed. i'll try to get the install instructions scanned and into my webshots acct. it has a good pic of what the overlays "should" look like

The indiglo's from the GB? Hook em up mang! I want to know how they work, wire, etc. Is there any probs w/ the # of resistors v.s. plugs (to many plugs not enough resistors so the resistor gets filled and nowhere to plug in the HVAC and Headlight Switch)

not sure...I deleted the e-mail by accident. But that was just w/ the gauges. I forget if they said they will begin tooling/production or finish tooling/production those on that date. It will prob. take a while longer for the other parts to be made so that they can ship out the packages together.

He ran the last group buy for EL glow gauges and HVAC. He collected all the money from all CEGers, and was supposed to be the only one dealing with the company, not any of us, unlike this current group buy.

Well instead of using the money for the gauges and HVACs, he kept it all and went on a shopping spree for his Tour.

He gave everyone a run around for almost a year saying the compay is doing this and that. Saying the gauges didn't come out correct so they need to make all brand new ones and sh*t like that.

Well almost everyone was beat for there money and never saw any product out of it.

He was since banned from the site and many have filed for online fraud with the FBI and mail fraud with the USPS.

That was $80 bucks each for the set, multiplied by who knows how many CEGers, so he made off pretty well.

17 days since they charged my c/c. I am not worried though...

I got my gauges in the mail today! They are very nice quality and I'm sure you'll all be happy. I didn't order the HVAC and Headlight tho...So just so you all know, you should recieve these any day now, if you haven't already.

It's a b!tch working on Saturday. Can't wait to get home and check the mailbox.

Just got done installing them. I'm pretty pleased with mine. The printing on the gauges looks great and the shade of the green/blue EL looks just like the pictures on their site. They are made so you dont have to remove the needles. The hole in the middle is slightly larger than the base of the needle, so there is a small ring of unlit gauge in the middle. However, it is hardly noticable. Installing them was very simple with no problems. Overall, I'm very happy.
If anyone has any problems installing their set, shoot me a pm and I'll try to help if I can.

Mine are installed too! They look great except...I made a nice little mistake. While slipping the overlay under the needle on the tach, I accidentally knocked it off. I then proceeded to hit my head on the table numerous times. So my tach is currently at 4750RPM's on idle....DoH`. Anyone with a suggestion to fix this or know how, please shoot me a pm. I'm glad the needle on the speedo didn't come off or I'd be F---ed. Gauges look great tho...

Once I figured out where the other three screws for the cluster bezel where, I was rolling. Probably an hour all together.

FYI-the other screws are behind the defroster switch and the PATS led light.

There are only 4 connectors to hook into the inverter, not a fifth for the AC panel, so do I need a seperate inverter?

How do you get the HI/LOW knob off, the others just pulled right off.

start the car without the tach needle on. once the car is at idle, stick the needle back on where your car usually idles. i know i can come pretty dang close to guessing where my car is idling, especially with the poly roll resistor that lets me feel every dang vibration. depending on the shake, i can tell about where i am at.

thats probably the closest you'll get. i think dealers can recalibrate for you if you want.

Well if you want to hook your HVAC or HL in with your gauges, then you need a Y-splitter which street racer parts sells for $5 a piece.

You would think they would have included this with our sets?

i think they did include them... 2 little black boxes with an exposed + and - on 1 side and the plug on the other side

Finally after 6 hours this evening, my gauges and HVAC are alive and looking good!

The SVT did suffer a casualty during the installation

The center consol panels that wrap around to the sides, there is a screw that goes on each side, well I broke one of the sides, so the panel is flapping around loosely, damn!

All in all this install for all 3 pieces was fairly easy. But it was time consuming. The main gauges were fine. It was kind of dificult getting the overlay over the needle without having it stick. The hvac was simple, it even had 3M double sided tape on it. The HL sucked... Took me forever to figure out howe to get the knob off! If anyone needs help let me know.

Someone PM'ed me for help on the install and I wrote a pretty large response. Figured I'd post it as well. I'm sure it'll hope some people in some way.

For the main cluster. Take off the dash. 2 screws behind the contour plate. One behind the defrost button and two up top. Take them all out and the dash will come off. Then there is about 5 or 6 that hold the cluster in. Take those out. Behind the cluster there are two large wiring harnesses, disconnect them and take the cluster inside. There are tabs all the way around to get the plastic off, its a PITA. Take the 2 little nipples off from the speedo and tack, as well as the trip reset. DO NOT REMOVE NEEDLES!Use double sided tape on the back of the overlays and carefully slide them over the needles. Each one has a wire going to it... run them out the back of the cluster, you'll see a perfect spot. Clip everything back up, dont worry about wiring yet.
For the HVAC. Remove the cd player completely out. There are 4 screws directly underneath it. Take them out, Then that whole piece will pull out. There are clips so it'll be a [censored] pulling it off, use force. There are two screws holding in the HVAC, i unscrewed them and pulled it out just enough to work with it, you might not have to. Take off all the knobs and rip off the old HVAC overlay. The indiglow overlay comes with 3M double sided tape so just stick it back on. Dont worry about wiring yet.
For the headlight switch you need to take off the plate underneath the steering wheel. The piece with the footwell light in it. After thats off... take off the piece that the HL switch is in. There are two screws. Pull the actual switch from the housing. This one is complicated. The switch just pulls off with force. It took me about 30 minutes to figure it out. Use more double sided tape and stick it on.
Now for the wiring. Mine are hooked up so when my foglights are on they are on. You can wiring them however you please. I tapped into the red (pos) and black (neg) wires. THe gauges, HVAC and HL each have the seperate tranformer, or whatever its called, each have 2 wires. splice all 3 red into the red for the foglight wires and same for the black (or white). Clip all clips together. And test em' out. IF you wired them correctly they'll come on with the fogs. I used the fogs because i always have them on. Now have fun putting everything back together and running the wires cleanly. It's not bad. I hope this helps.

My HVAC is a little green but that is because I'm using my original power inverter from my gauges. Not the new one they sent me.

I noticed this:
Gauges- Blue or green
HVAC- green
HL- Bluish/ greenish color

I thought that everything was going to be 2-color for the GB. Oh well i am 100% satisfied.

in order to have everything to be two color i think everyhting would have to be tied into the color inverter on the gauges via "y-splitters". This way the HL and HVAC could all switch btw green and blue w/ the gauges.

Either that or you need another color inverter for the HL and HVAC

Is anyone planning on running the HVAC and HL switch to the gauges inverter so everything changes green to blue. It doesnt seem to difficult, but i dont want to be the first to be cutting into it.

i just spoke w/ the co. and asked about switching the order from the 2 color to the 6-color inverter and being able to control all 3 parts w/ the 6 color inverter. I was right, you need 2 y-splitters and thats really all you need. My total came to around $130 for everything.

Now all 3 parts will match and b able to change to 6 colors

Y=splitters basically makes one plug turn into 2 plugs or 2 plugs into 1 plug...however you look at it. the way this works is you have 4 inlets to the inverter..but if you have 2 y-splitters, you then can wire up 6 i.e. the 4 gauges + 1 HVAC + 1 HL = 6.

Im not really sure bud...I persoanlly wouldnt mess w/ cutting. If you want you can just call them and order some y-splitters. I don't know how much they cost. The girl said she'd just throw 2 in for me. If you mention you just bought them through this buy-in she might give you a deal. I dont see them being anymore than $5 each. This would allow you to controll all 3 parts which is sweet...for $10 more I think its worth it. Thats why i spent $15 more for the 6-color inverter + 2 y-splitters. I figured hell Im already spendin over $100, might as well do it up right.

Anybody else not get theirs yet or am I the only one

YES, they are a very nice blue, both the gauges and HVAC. Personally I found the green to be pukey looking, mine is forever set on the blue.

Rawburt-I spliced my HVAC into my gauges using a Y-splitter and it works fine. Even if you don't have a Y-splitter to use, it will work fine.
I am using only one inverter for my gauges and HVAC because that is all SRP provided me with.

When they are on the blue color, and my lights are on, I hear a little bit of a whine, not very loud at all, you probably wouldnt notice it unless you were trying to hear it. Anyone else notice this? I believe thats common with all Indiglo.

how is the 6 color transformer going to be different? isnt it just going to let u pick green, blue, and shades of green/blue, blue/green? i can do that know via the knob? glad i have only 2 wires for my main gauges so i can order the hl indiglo and use one transformer to power it all. it would also be a good idea to wire in a small inline fuse. i need to figure out how many amps the indiglos all pull.

it gives more options to make the parts match. I wanted this so I can pick which color looks best. You never can be too sure how good the colors will come out w/ these things. Also w/ the 6 color inverter I only have to use 1 inverter to run all the gauges, the HVAC and the HL ( via the 2 y-splitters the lady is throwing in for me). they will all be color controlled simultanueously aka all 3 pieces will change at the same time and match perfectly.

Yea it is really quiet, like i said you have to listen for it, to actually hear it. As long as it's not hurting anything, I'm happy.

Just sign up for one on the model developement page. They made a batch of 50 and should have several left over.

I just got mine yesterday. Haven't had time to do anything yet. I have one inverter for each piece. If you can use y-splitters for these things, why would they go to the extra expense of including inverters for each piece. Any chance of overloading the inverters by putting more than 2 or more pieces on it?

Also w/ the 6 color inverter I only have to use 1 inverter to run all the gauges, the HVAC and the HL ( via the 2 y-splitters the lady is throwing in for me). they will all be color controlled simultanueously aka all 3 pieces will change at the same time and match perfectly.

I just got mine yesterday. Haven't had time to do anything yet. I have one inverter for each piece. If you can use y-splitters for these things, why would they go to the extra expense of including inverters for each piece. Any chance of overloading the inverters by putting more than 2 or more pieces on it?

I think your confusing the y-splitters w/ inverters. The gauges have 4 plugs (which takes up the entire inverter..b/c it only has 4 openeings), in order to get the HVAC and HL to work you need to have 2 y-splitters to branch off from the 1 inverter running your gauges (1 y-splitter for the HVAC and 1 y-splitter for the HL which will essentially give you 6 openings instead of 4 to hold all 6 plugs from all the parts)thats why i said i think you are confusing the 2. Unless you have 3 pieces that all have a switch to change the colors. I havent seen them yet since I ordered them a few days ago but thats the logic behind it. Either way I spoke w/ the co. and im sure their sending me what I need to make it work.

i emailed them asking about the color difference between them and this is the response i got:

The gauges were started into production before the a/c unit and switch plate. Each time they run the units the colors are off just a little. There is not controlling it. The reason they were started at different time is because we were waiting on the Headlight switch, the gauges had already started at that point. The best I can say is change the color on the gauges to match the color on the a/c panel a little better! We do have a plug that will split the 4 plugs into 7 plugs giving you enough to urn it all off the one inverter, but then you can not change the gauges to match the a/c unit! they will always look off color, so it is better they way you have it now!

Yikes, they sounded a little pissed in that email. Oh well, I'm fine with it for now. Once someone figures an easy fix for this i'll attempt it. Besides it doesnt bother me all that much... Kinda sucks that some people havent even got these yet, and i've had them installed since saturday!

I got mine today. It came with one main inverter with four plugs and two other small ones with one each. Is that everything you need to make it work? Also did anyone notice that the svt symbol is red along with the km/hr. My stock ones are all black.

The red color SVT lettering on the indiglos is similar to the "glowing SVT tach mod".I did the glowing mod on my stock gauges and it looks awesome. When this mod is not done the SVT is lost at night and is not visable. W/ this mod done it is still black during the day but glows red at night when the lights are turned on.

So the indiglos SVT lettering are basically the same way except they are always red. Red during the day and glows red at night. Its better this way i feel...thats my .02

I actually like the red accents better.

thats what most of us got lil buddy, and yes it will work. u may want 2 contact them about getting some splitters so the colors r more closely matched. other than that, they puppies r bad ass and really bright!

I just noticed when my tach is at 3K or higher the needle is sticking

I made sure to use double sided tape so the gauge face wouldnt sag causing this problem. I'm not pulling everything apart again just to fix this. Other than my sticky tach, I'm very happy with this set. THEY ARE BRIGHTER THAN ANY OTHER INDIGLOWS IVE HAD OR SEEN

Got another different question for everyone.

I bought just the HVAC panel and not the gauges because I had them already.

The power inverter that came with my glow gauges has 4 connectors on it, 2 are being used for the gauges and now 1 for the HVAC. I've always had problems with the inverter flicking and not working randomly or takes a while to "warm up" almost.

I got the new one from the HVAC and was thinking about using that one instead. But I noticed it is alot smaller in size than my current inverter.

Just wondering if this thing is powerful enough to run all them or if I need a larger one for that?

I don't know if everyone got the same inverter as I did or each got different ones depending on your order. Thats why I asked, otherwise I would of just went ahead and changed it.

The tab on my temp gauge lays right over the tach and the tab on the gas gauge lays left over the speedo. The instructions say to not bend the tabs but I don't see any other way to do it. I'm thinking to bend the tabs on the temp and gas gauges to go under the tach and speedo. I sure could use some help with this. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the HVAC panel apart. RawBurt says to pull radio and remove the 4 screws under the radio--I don't have any to remove.

RawBurt, I appreciate your how-to but perhaps someone could be a little clearer and please have some pictures. TIA

Hard to remember, I know i bent the gas one cuz it was in the way, I cant be 100% about the other though, not without ripping it all back apart. But It might be, lke i said, just make sure if you do bend them, dont make any extreme bends, and the gauges will tend to bow up a little. As long as they look good and your needles have clearence, you should be fine.

Tom, You can bend these overlays just not to the point where you are putting a crease in them. The two gauges you speak of are kind of tricky. For the temp, what i did was put that little tab that lays on the tach pointing down. Put it in between the temp gauge and tach and just kind of bend it on over. If it's held securely between the two like that you'll be fine. Same goes for the other one, These gauges were kind of designed poorly on where the little tabs come off of them... You need to improvise with some of them. The HVAC is the simplest one. Take that little tool that came with your HU to remove it and slide it one the sides and yank. I dont even need that tool, I slide it out from the back through the little holes underneath it. Anyway pull that completly out.

Yes you do! Look directly up from the cup holders, you'll see four screws in each corner. If you are saying that they are missing, then that hole piece is only being held on by the clips so it'll just yank off! Just look directly up from the cup holders and let me know what you see. If you need anything else, or pics let me know and i'll be able to take them later on today.

The tack and speedo have a little bit of room under them where the tabs from the other gauges lay. I had to bend mine down just enough to fit under the face of the gauge. I didnt go crazy and bend a 90 degree angle.

I thought you meant you'd see screws once the HU was out. I did see the 4 screws above the cupholders. I was getting ticked off last night so I stopped before removing them. Once they are out, just pull the panel off? Where are the clips so I'll know where to look for them? BTW, thanks to all. I guess I'm just more cautious than my younger counterparts.

Is the tab bent under the gauge housing or between the original gauge and the overlay?

Under the clear plastic backing of the original face.

You'll probably have to remove the screw on the passenger side of the center console and nudge it out of the way to get to the one screw out. Once those are out, just gently pull on the top of the hvac/radio bezel. The clips are along the top, right above the hvac.

You need to more then gently pull. You have to give it a good yank! I knew i should of took pics while installing this. I was just too excited to get them in and didnt want to waste anytime!

I'm starting to get a little worried...wtf

I want to wire up my indiglos (all 3 ) to come on when the parking lights come on. I was told to splice into the "red/green" or "red/yellow" to have them come on w/ the parking lights. Which one of the wires is the right one? Also what color wire do I splice into for the ground?

A quick responce would be greatly apreciated. I have my entire dash apart and want to finish the install and put everything back together b4 dark.

just go in2 the fuse box directly under the dash on the drivers side and find the fuse that comes on/off with the headlights & parking lights. its a 7.5fuse

no splicing wires or cutting anything 2 make it work

anyway I got it hooked up. The 6 color inverter works really well. The colors basically are: dark green, light green, aqua, sky blue, dark blue, violet and then there is 6 or 7 differnt brightness settings... someone asked before.

little tip: I used spray adhesive to stick the overlays on...this way there is not mounds under the overlay and no chances of having the needles get hung up. Also with this method there is no ugly space between the cutout hole of the overlays and the original gauge.

Just got on the computer and read your posts. If you decide to use something in the fuse block, number 33 is driver's side and 35 is passenger side parking lights. Number 31 is dash illumination. You can get fuse taps at Radio Shack that require no splicing.

About the spray adhesive.....that sounds very good but how did you avoid getting it all over everything when you sprayed it on? If you ever decide to remove the overlays (or have to, for some reason), will they come off easily?

I used the same spray adhesive I used for carpeting my box. I was doing the adhesive in my basement not in the car so it made it very simple. I had the gauge assembly on the table and i just sprayed the adhesive on the back of the overlay...waited about a minute untill it was tacky then put it on. Repeated the steps for all four. The spray adhesive is repositional/permanent bonding, depending on how much you put on. Even a whole lot really wont be permanent anyway. I just put a light-medium coat on the back of the overlay and pressed on. It will come off w/out any difficulty if need be..its really not a permanent kind of bond at all. To be more descrptive, it basically mimiced the 3M sticky tape that was on the HVAC and HL. VERY thin layer, sticky, but not OVER sticky. Im very satisfied w/ the results.

That's a very good way to do it. I guess there were no problems with them sticking as you were jockeying them over the needles??? Since we'll have to bend the tabs of the gas and temp gauges down, this seems to be an appropriate way to stick them down instead of tape.

There is a little bit of this needed. Its really not too bad. Just be patient and try hard not to pop off the needle lol. Persoanlly i think the cutouts for the needles could have been smaller so there isnt as big of a hole..but they are still very nice.

These are alot easier to install than the 6 color ones I took off. The tach and temp were one piece as was the speedo and gas gauge. Those took quite abit of screwing around to get them on/off.

One last thing I should have asked before---where did you pick up the spray adhesive?

The HVAC was green

but I had a transformer from a previously failed GB (not the scam one), tried it and the HVAC came out blue. So now I'm a happy camper. Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my questions.

Since everyone should know by now that the gas and temp gauge tabs have to be bent under, what's everyone using to hold them down. I got double faced tape (Scotch brand) and it held for a few days. Now both are bowing up and the needles are sticking. I have to watch my mileage to make sure I don't run out of gas and hope my car's temp is OK. I'm pulling the gauge pod out in a couple days and trying something else. So--besides the spray adhesive--what's everyone else doing?

Mine aren't sticking or bowing up and i used the skotch double sided tape... Well at least I dont think so. I'll have to double check that today.

I couldn't get tape to hold them down, so I also had to resort to spray adhesive.

The tape didn't work for me either. Once I saw that they worked, I used a few drops of superglue.

I did all my "testing" on the temp gauge. At first I tried a couple pieces, but the gauge kept popping up near the tab (go figure). I then tried plastering the back with tape, but the same spot kept popping back up. I sprayed the glue on, wiggled the overlay into position, then pressed it on with a cloth. I was able to stick the tach and speedo on with tape only. If it matters to anyone, I used 3M Super 77 spray adhesive leftover from carpeting my box.

I covered them with Scotch double faced tape. Didn't use just a couple pieces. I'll try the spray adhesive. I'm hesitant to use super glue in case something happens or I decide to change something.

Thanks to hetfield, I got some the Super 77 spray and that stuff is great! Thanks again, man. I got alittle adhesive on the needle but it cleaned off with alcohol--no problem.

I used double sided tape and mine are all F'd up. My tach and gas gauges are both sticking, because the tape isnt holding them flat.

I might pull everything apart and try that spray you guys are talking about. I just didn't want to take a chance of damaging the orig. gauges.

Get the spray. It's alot sticker than the tape. It's a much more viable solution. I didn't want to redo the lines from each overlay (I threaded them thru under the gauges) so I just pulled them out enough to get some slack, cut a slit in some cardboard, put the gauge's wire in the slit so I could cover the rest of the pod, sprayed the back of the gauge and replaced the overlay. Just took a couple minutes each and they're sticking nicely now.

It is true that you'll probably ruin the gauges you use the spray adhesive on, which is why I only used it on the gas and temp. I have a spare cluster from which I can transfer the original gauge faces if I really need to, but if you don't have that luxury make sure you're ok with using the spray.
