These are legal as far as I know in all states except when driving. If you drive with these on you are liable for a ticket i believe in all 50 states.

You can get a ticket if you have these on while driving on public roads.
They are for show only. I only turn them on when I'm showing them off to friends when I'm parked in front of their house(or my own) or in a parking lot that is not controlled by the police or private security. If you are in a parking lot and are not sure if the security allows them to be turned on while parked, ask them. They can't give you a ticket for asking. If they ask if you have them on your car just say you dont but you were looking at getting some.
If they say they dont mind the lights, have fun but if they do mind, do not put them on. Also, if you turn them on DO NOT forget to turn them off before driving.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I have had underbody lights for over a year now. Yes, they are gorgeous and I loved mine. Then, I hit a snow drift, one gone. Must have kicked up a rock and the back one stopped working, 2 gone. Got in car accident, 3 gone. Now I only have one left and I plan on taking that off and putting it in my trunk. They are nice butn even with being extrememly careful like I was, they break. It doesn't matter if they are Street Glow, Optx, or any other brand. I'm not trying to steer people away from underbody lights, just letting people know what happened to me and probably happens for many others.
On my ranger i had street glow, leds tubes, i went barreling through snow, mud, dirt all over. never once did i have a problem with LED kits. Now you must have had normal tubes that break easy. Very easy in fact. We aren't selling catho tubes we are selling led kits. Much difference in performance.

With neons, yes, stuff like that happens. I broke all of my neons. Thats why I switched to LEDs
With the LEDs, they are alot more durable and last longer.
4 weeks ago I was T-Boned and the light didn't break. I was hit right above the back of the LED Tube and they worked great.
When I put my front lights on, I used tie wraps and I used some thin ones for the front right side. The tie wrap broke and the light hit the ground and drug for about a 1/4 mile. Guess what, the light still works and you can not notice a thing happened to it. if you would like, I will post up the light with where it drug on the ground.
And if anyone is wondering, I have a 2002 eclipse with eibach prokit lowering spring and KYB AGX adjustable shocks. My car is only about 3 inches off the ground. and I have now had 2 sets of underglow LED kits and not one tube went out or broke. I got rid of my blue because I started selling the million color kits so I hooked my car up with them.

There are 2 million color kits I have.
1. New Million Color Kit is going for 200 + shipping.

The difference between the two is that the New Million Color Kit has 3 more functions and 10 more color patterns than the Million Color kit.

Your not to late, I am pretty sure we can squeeze you in. As for shippign, Steven will ship to Canada. The shipping costs and procedures are the same. You get charged what actual shipping costs unlike other GBs or web sites. And feel free to order as many kits as you would like. I got a response from the manufacturer last night.
I need to receive 1 more payment (which should arrive today or tomorrow) and I will be able to send the money for all of the kits.
If I send the money tomorrow, everyone will have their lights around the end of the month just like I had hoped for. They did tell me that due to low usage, the Pink and aqua kits will not be available for at least another month. Good thing that doesn't affect anyone here.
For the next 11 hours I will be at school getting everything ready to start my new semester. I'll update you guys again once I get back.

This is just something I have been debating myself, and is for anyone buying one of Steven's LED kits.
Are you planning on installing the kit as soon as you receive it, and put it through the winter? Or wait and install it in the spring when it warms up?
I bought 3 kits of the New million color kit. I'm not planning to install the kit for this winter on my Contour, because in Canada we have some real rough winters and I don't want to screw up my kit. Another kit, that will be installed on a Toyota Tercel won't be installed for this winter, but the third kit goes on a Honda CRX that is only used during summer time, so we might install the kit on this car. The kits for the Tour and the Tercel will only be installed next spring and we even will be taking the kit off the car for every winter. I hate Canada for it's winter (temperature can get down to -45�°C (-45�°F for you americans) and we can get up to 60cm (2 feets) of snow in a few hours) and for it's currency (I got many problems while buying the kits, because I needed to do some money currency transfer...). I don't know if winters in USA are like this, but if they are, I would recommend you not to install the kit for the winter.

I'm glad to see everyone is making plans for their lights already. Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be contacted by another manufacturing company for car audio within the next few days. So if you guys may be interested, after you guys get the lights and I get my inventory where I want it, I'll be expanding to car audio as well.
If you guys are interested, I will do a group buy if I decide to include the car audio. but we can save that discussion for a later date.

I'd like to say my word too... This group buy is running great and smoothly, it's the first time I buy this way and I'm satisfied of the service. I must say that I was a bit scared at first, because I never did some sort of order like this, I only ever went to a store our something, plus I've never bougt anything from USA, since I'm from Canada. I've looked at some other GB and found that many problems occured. Hey everyone, I talked to my customs broker today and my first shipment, which isn't the underglow kits just got released and I head to the port tomorrow so while I am down there, I am going to try everything I can to get the Kits from Customs. If I can't, my broker did say it will only be a few more days. If I have to, I will 2-Day AIR the lights to you guys at no charge. I honestly didn't expect it to take this long to get through Customs. Sorry its taking so long but the lights will be in my possession VERY SOON.

Man you should have asked me about customs lol. I visit the customs office's in port of tacoma and port of seattle near me. Do it for work trying to get shipments realized for our warehouse. Hehe, I get $75 gift certicates if I get the shipment to clear 2-3 days faster! I have gotten 8 in four months. Nice little pay raise lol!

Called today and it WAS examined last night and is now on its way to the CFS station where it will be available for me to pick up. My broker told me to call her everyday to see if its ready for pick up.

I didn't mention in the first few messages that I ended up using UPS instead of FedEx because the place I was at charged different prices from what the FedEx website told me. UPS ended up being the same price as FedEx's website told me, lol
Anyways, I checked all of the tracking numbers so if anyone has any problems with their tracking number, please contact me ASAP.

my xmas was good, but I'm not doing good right now.
first, a big loader that works with the snowblowers at night in the streets hit my rear bumper when he came to tim hortons, where i was to see a friend who works there at night. I need a new rear bumper, I guess I'll take a SVT bumper since I have to change it, my car will look better with it and it's said that it fits perfectly with no mod needed.
second, while checking ups for information about the kits, it says that it's being scanned as from december 27th, my kits already benn through been a scan, I think it's enough, but they have to do it, since my kits will cross US up to Canada. and I can't get the date of delivery, so I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer than you guys.
well, I guess I was not right about what the scan means, can somebody help me out, I can't figure out what it means.

This means that your shipment was scanned in Sylmar, CA on December 27, 2004 and then it was shipped to Los Angeles, CA later that night(Early this morning). It was received in Los Angeles to be shipped to you on December 28th (today, so you should get it in about 4 or 5 days.)

yea yea, of course, I will install them probably friday, as I just bought another copy of wow so my father and I could play together instead of using the same account at different times of the day lol.
If you have any questions on the install after looking at the instructions, check to see if I'm on AIM (MycroSkillz). If I'm not, feel free to call me and I'll help you with the wiring. Its actually really simple. The time consuming part is figuring out where to wire them.
One of the girls from the eclipse club came over and we made a nice movie of the LED tubes before they were put on the car and we are going to make another movie of our cars side by side.
I'll have to work on getting the video online later today or tomorrow.

Got mine tonight also, damn those things are heavy lol. I will be installing new years eve, and having fun with them. err maybe not, cops are out in huge patrol new years weekend every year. Ohh well, i will get some pics up tomorrow of the kits, and over the next few days when i install.

Mine came in a day before the scheduled delivery, what a delightful surprise eh? This kit is truly awesome - met my expectations and surpassed them.
Since the weather here is unusually warm (near 50) in Iowa! I'm seriously thinking about putting them on for just a few days.

alright, i'm here at my parents garage and ready to install them, but unless i'm blind, i have no instructions anywhere, i cant find them... so maybe someone did get them and help me out where to look besides everywhere... if anyone really has time...could copy and post them on here to be printed

Its the white folded paper in the same bag the control module came in.
Before you install everything, attach the wires from the tubes to the connector (black lookin box with 4 plugs), then the connector to the control module. Then the control module wires to the battery to test everything.

Just finished the install on my car and did some other things. Now to find the digital camera and take some pictures.

Here's one question, why does it says my package weights 25 lbs, I know I ordered 3 kits, but one kits weights 9lbs according to others, so mine should weight 27 lbs...
Another question, let's say the kit doesn't works, what do we have to do?
The reason it says it weighs 25 pounds is because the lady that works at the shipping center said the package is considered an "oversized" package so she just put the weight at the minimum weight for an "oversized" package. no big deal
If the kit does not work, please call me right away.
So far everyone's kit has worked and they love it. But if for some reason it doesn't work, call me.

Steve - in an early post I believe you said that is very important to connect the control module cables directly to the battery, but we can use extended wire right?
With the length of the wires provided, the control module can only be placed in the footwell, so I need a longer cable. I'm sure it'd be fine, but just checking.

I just used that double sided tape and put it right on top of my power distribution box. I really need to go find my digital camera...
You can extent it as much as you need to.
i have yet to get around to install it. so i guess it wont be happening tonight.

installed the kit, looks great. I need to aim the lights better, and I will take some pictures tomorrow of the end result. And I will also take some detailed pictures of the install points.
i just installed my kit the other day, Im impressed with the functions and designs. The red looks great with my black SVT and red calipers... Thanks to Pacific Glow for making this a great group buy.

I will take pictures of where I mounted the front tube but it won't help anyone, as the front end of my car is setup different then most peoples tours (from my charger install). I have pictures of the rest except where I ran the wires, which is easy enough to explain. I also took some pictures last night as I found out my [censored] fog light is out again.

January 4th, my kits were in Lachine(wich is in Canada and that is about 1 hour from where I am) and now, January 6th, they're back in the US, anyway, if you still have my tracking number, can you check what's happening and explain that to me, I must say I don't understand why the kits are traveling that much. if you don't have it anymore, ask me for it, I'll tell it to you.
I'm tired of waiting for them while others already have them since about a week.
I hope you can help me out.

come move to the us . If he would have been living in canada you would have had them like a week before us. Its just customs.
you're probably right, but I don't think I would move to the US only to get something quicker than I would in Canada, I like it here, but laws are a lot more strict regarding to what's legal in car for the mods, but we can drive with no problem here with a under car kit, but it must not flash.
my kits got in yesterday, but I got some problems, so Steven, check your PM's...
I got pics, i am downloading them to my computer and I will be posting in an hour or so.

what all did you have to use to mount them?
I predrilled all the holes, not sure size of bit, and then used all the hardware that came with the kit. Was pretty easy. Just time consuming. I couldn't find decent ways to run wires. so they are in very odd places.

Hey Llane, I think you should angle the tubes out more! If you turn them in the clips, it will be a lot brighter!!
Now that I think about it, I'm going to try crossing my Tubes under my car so that the driver side tube points to the passenger side and the passenger tube points to the driver side. I'll get back to everyone on that tonight.

Since I installed a pre98 console, i installed the control box just left of the shifter, so that it wouldn't blind me. It shines on my window and has kept helped me figure out it was on when i was driving during the occasions i didn't know they were on. I will try to take some pictures in the next couple days, my batteries in my camera are pretty much dead.

I just wanted to post up a few pictures of another guy from my car club that bought a kit. It looks really cool in the snow. So concentrated
Here is where I installed my control box( I'm not completely done tough, I'll fix the box and hide the wires). Let me know what you think about it...
I only installed the control pannel, the LEDs will only be installed once snow it gonna melt.
Thinking of that, I wanted to know if it's normal that there are 2 unused buttons on the new million colors kit(you can see that I'm pointing at them on the picture).
Yes, those 2 buttons are not being used. I actually forgot to ask the manufacturer what they were for. I'm guessing they have something to do with the programming for the remotes but I am not quite sure.
