Can a factory CD player be added to a 95 Mystique that didn't come with one. I'm looking to buy one on ebay and didn't know if I should waste my time or not.

thanks

You can. It's just plug and play. They're junk. You can get a great CD player at best but for $80-100 and will run circles areound the crap stock one. They skip when hot. They're pretty up there in age by now too. And don't say for ease of install because they have harness kits and it's plug and play.

Ace, go get whatever CD player you'd like, and make sure you get one of those wiring harness adapters. I've done plenty of my own vehicles, and it really is plug and play.

The factory CD player was only available with the premium sound system that includes a seperate amp. So it is not plug and play unless you already have the amp.

I agree, it is junk. Do yourself a favor and get something better. My son was rather fond of the JVC he had in his Contour along with a 12 disc changer in the trunk.
