Each day, when i start my car and then put it in reverse, or sometimes in 1st to go straight..a loud pop noise comes from the rear.

Only happens the first time i move my car each day, after it does it once, doesn't happen again. No idea what this could be, e-brake, struts? Don't know - Anybody heard of this noise before?

it is the rear pads breaking free from the rotor as they have rusted together overnight, I only get this after the car has been sitting for some time, not everyday.

try not pulling so hard on the parking brake, just click it up enough to hold the car still then go one or two more clicks to make sure it will hold

yeah i thought it might have something to do w/ the parking break... ill try that out tonight
