I have recently been experiencing problems with my car's air induction system. Everything runs normal but after the engine warms, I have problems when i go full open throttle. The engine feels sluggish and there is a weird noise, kind like sounds like a whooooooo sort of sound. kinf of difficult to explain. the car works good in normal idle and normal driving, it's just when i slam on the gas. Anyone out there experience something similiar?

Welcome . Is it happening at 3.5 to 4K RPM? If it is, then it is most probably your Intake Manifold Runner Control.

i would say about 4k rpm when i go full throttle.

Oh, and one other thing. Drive to Autozone or Advance and have them read (free service) the Check Engine Light code(s). Then post the exact code(s) here.

Edit. How many miles on the car?

No engine light on. It did go off about a month ago, but went away. I got about 51k miles on it now.
