While diagnosing my catalytic rattle I jacked up the passenger side of the car and started it to try to figure out if it the heat shield or internal (seems to be heat shield). Here is the weird part, with the car running in nuetral clutch engaged the passenger side wheel spins. There is a definate push to it as in something driving the wheel I can stop it with my hand only to have it spin up again. With the clutch disengaged (had my wife push the pedal down for me) there is no spin at all is this normaal?

Mine has always done that too... When your car is running with the clutch out the crankshaft is turning the input shaft in the tranny. With the clutch pedal pressed it is no longer turning the shaft. That's why it's going away when you depress the pedal

Cool I figured it prolly wasn't a real problem if anything was really engaged that shouldn't be it should kill the engine, but it's always nice to know it's not just with my car.
