15 min after start up...need to know what happened

i started my car early this morn. cuz there was frost on the windows... anyways.. starts up fine.. little timing chain rattle..*not too worried about it because my other contour does it too* but anyways... i'm backing out of my driveway and all of a sudden it starts to howl.. and the RPM's start surging really bad.. could it be my egr is clogged or what? i wanna know before i dump money into mods...

sounds like a moose i guess.. it was a dee howl.. i guess you caould say it sounded like a moose

i didnt have the time to search.. i was at school.. btw what is a TSB?

It says you removed intake res. in the 1997 Contour. The factory had a tsb (technical service bulletin on moosing). My sister's V6 1995 Mystique had the moose, it would moan loud and stall the engine. The dealer put in a kit of tubes and hoses, which I think would have been stock in the 1997 Tour, maybe try putting back the factory junk as a test.
