Figure out what the problem is, it could be somehing real simple. Plus fixing it would probably be a LOT cheaper than a new car payment.
I understand your frustration, I have been there MANY times with my truck. I still got it though

Popping rad hoses means you either have the wrong clamps, or you have a blown head gasket. Check the oil mang.

Even better trick, try seeing if the engine runs without the rad cap on. I had an old CRX with a blown head gasket that wouldn't hold compression with the rad cap off, making the engine die.

Have you tried replacing the thermostat? I had an '80 L-82 Vette that did the same thing.Turns out it was a stuck thermostat.

Like someone else said, I think it is time for a sig change Also, if you can't afford a tow truck, how are you going to afford a new car payment?

Is that language really needed? Does it really help you?
Posted By: SVTcontourSVT Re: ^%#$%$#^*&* - 01/21/04 09:37 PM
He's venting, I'd be pissed to
Posted By: bentleywarren_dup1 Re: ^%#$%$#^*&* - 01/21/04 10:31 PM
Yep, but I don't like the language. Never did, never will. It adds absolutely nothing to a post, other than to lower the quality of our site. Read the rules. They state, in part:

"Posts containing vulgar, profane, abusive, racist or hateful language or expressions, ....... will be deleted and actions may be taken against the originator. Attempts to defeat the built-in censor will be met harshly."

I'm seeing more and more attempts to "defeat the built-in censor". Read the posts in question.

I too would be upset if my car broke down. It's done it several times, and I've been upset every time. Crude and vulgar language does not help anything.

I'm not picking on any person or individual. But it seems to me that too many people can not talk or write with out using profanities, and they usually do so intentionally, by intentionally mis-spelling words to defeat the built in censor.

I will agree that there are alot of Unnecessary words in his post. As you stated your not picking on any person or individual but almost everyone covers up there cuss words(even admin). If I got a dollar anytime someone said somthing vulgar, or Inappropriate on this site I'd be a millionaire. Now everyone is different but personally by swearing and cussing(if something bad were to happen), helps me relieve my anger. It's not supose to solve anything rather to help remove the anger in a safe way.

If you had to walk/jog/ run over 30 miels in two days due to your car trust me you wouldnt be like gee golly gosh my car broke again. And to have the cops mess with you when you get within 1/2 a block from your house from doing a 15 miles trip on foot isnt the most pleasing thing. Did I forget to mention that cop had me held up for almost an hour messing with me after all that so crude and vulgar lang. does help soemthing. It helps a lot more then you can possably imagine if you think it doesnt help anything. Its either that or go balistic on people and do something that would possably put me in jail.

A lot easier then paying to have the car towed 15 miles at that spot 2 days right before payday. Another words im running low on cash. Spent to much messing around earlier. lol

I know you're pissed (I would be), but the forum rules clearly state that bypassing the censor is a big no-no.

Please abide by the rules.
