I'm planning to change the MTX oil, shifting is ok,what oil I can use,10w30?

No, not 10w30. The mtx uses ATF fluid. There have been a lot of discussions in the past concerning the best. A lot of people will add a friction modifier to the ATF fluid. Personally, I use ATF-III.

Also search for tranny cocktail, might have to go to the archives for that. Use ATF though, I was told by Terry H. that MTX fluid (gear lube) is simply too thick for our trans, which was designed to use ATF.

Summit Racing has it for $8/quart. I have three sitting in my garage waiting for the opportunity to go in
