Does anybody know if a diecast (nice big 1:18 scale hopefully) of a Contour SVT exists?

If so, where can I find one....

You'll probably find them from the same guy selling brand new carbon fiber trunk lids.

I've never seen any around either. Good luck!

Contour doesn't exist, but the Mondeo does. I found mine as recommended by FrenchblueC2 on an eBay link she posted in 2003.

i dont get it... they sell models of the focus... and the taurus even... why was there never a contour?

because the Contour didn't sell like the Focus or Taurus.

that picture that Matt posted is of a 1:43 scale diecast, btw.
It's about the closest I've ever come to a Contour diecast.
I think the only other thing that you can get is those plastic r/c car shells, and I forget what scale those are.

1:12 Scale. Made by HPI racing, and those are actually Mondeo bodyshells as well, based after the old BTCC cars, but they look pretty close to a CSVT when painted up like a street car.

Don't feel too bad, I never could find any models of my 90 or 91 Mustang GT either. I guess I keep buying unpopular bastard cars or somethin.

GMP makes some nice fox body stuff. not cheap, but very nice quality. No 90/91 specific cars, but you can get pretty close.

I don't know why but that struck me as hilarious.

Nope, 1:10th scale. Here's mine:

I have a lot more pics than those. I raced that body one time. It was great to see it run around the track; winning, of course.

...and here's a link to HPI Europe's site:

I've already contacted HPI. They won't import any Euro body shells, regardless of interest or quantity.
