CNG Contour? Maybe a re post so I apologize...

I found this on ebay and maybe is a re post I am not sure.

I found this pretty sweet so I decided to share it

Anyway .. definitely a repost. Ford made them as fleets for government use and you see them pop up on eBay every now and again. The CNG tank only gets you ~100 miles I heard, plus I don't know of any CNG station around here. A few CEGers have bought them and flat out removed the system to get their trunk space back.

It's a beautiful, albeit failed, execution for an alternative hybrid system.

man, only 3000 miles on that contour!

and super clean to boot.

That warp isn't half as bad as my friend's 2000 SE (which I never got pics of before she got rid of it

). Hers was touching the windshield about halfway up the dash, and Ford still didn't do anything about it since it was past the recall period.

yeah we have a CNG at our building, slow when using natural gas
