Open air intake was probably the most ENJOYABLE mod. The sound really comes alive with that.

The BEST mod was probably painted front oval and mesh grilles all around.

Window tint

Absolutely the most useful mod to the SVT.

rear STB on the Coug. Love how it handles!

I'd say winter tires for the GL, if you want to call that a mod.
I didn't buy the car for modifying, but damn does she love the slop and snow.

My side markers and window tint. I think it really dressed up the car!

Tint coupled w/ blacking out the B-pillar. Best look ever for the Silver Frost!!!

Most enjoyable mod for me, would be my Infinity Basslink + HU. First major upgrade I did to the car, the improvement was immediately noticeable, and I've enjoyed it every day since then.

"Best" mod, would probably be my TSW Revos. Best looking $400 I've spent on this car.

sleeperZ intake for the zetec...it gave it a litle more pep and a lot more sound.

painted grille and wheels/tires are up there too

My best mod was the "Roush" mod (springs and rear sway bar).

WEEEEE!!!

For me it would be a combination of the woven mesh grille and the projectors with painted bezel. Completely transforms the look of the mystique, makes me happy in the pants when i look at the car.

BBS wheels was my favorite best mod.

cloth to leather swap in my Mystique.

Then I traded the car in 4 months later. IDIOT!

I have done to it so far!The SVT is a great car stock but wants you start to mod it,its a driving experince like no other....(short of supercars..haha).I only wish I didn't spend $800 for my borla exhaust(to my defense I wasnt a member on ceg yet so I didn't kno any better) I could have gotten headers and trubendz exhaust for that much

Nitrous. It makes it so much fun to drive the car.

I love all my other mods very much, but the headers were probably the best out of the rest.

best mod either koni sport kit or P.R.T. Poly Roll Resistors.

GCs with konis and 225/40/18 on chrome wheels with no wheel gap! The best..... ugh I love my car

Im so borderline on what to do with my nitrous, either install it or wait a bit and install it on the Cobra..

all mods are good... the best mod is continually keeping her in good condition --

overall best mod: TWO mirkos-- which are now both broken, but mirkos just make the front end look so mean

my up-coming best mods are getting her back to normal condition (cd player is broken, antennae is broken, etc.)

Fog lights, I can actually see something when I'm driving at night. Stock lighting is crap.

I took the dead body out of the trunk and buried it. It isn't friendly to AutoX use with the added weight just flopping around.

Remote Start, and all engine mods. I always get compliments on the sound of the car, I just love watching the people stare at my car trying to figure out how it starts without a driver.

Besides tint, the best mod was the sledgehammer mod to my factory CD HU when I put in a Clarion ProAudio unit. Be careful of flying debris if you try this mod.

It's VERY cathartic.

my CTA intake, I got it used at a meet for $70. That thing made my car sound like a porsche, every time I guned the gas pedal people near by would whip their head around to see what was making that beautiful noise... Then they saw that it was a contour, and got confused... Lol, it sounded great and I got redickulious gains out of it, a noticeable difference I could feel all the way up the powerband.

Now that I think about it.....BBS wheels AND the Jackson Racing supercharger.

On my '95ATX, as much as I'd like to say it was the BAT suspension, I have to say it was upgrading to the SVT exhaust. I loved the sound of it, even hamstrung by the auto tranny.

On my '97SE, so far it's been wiring the Pioneer with an aux line in so I can get the audio output from my PDA (navigation & music) through my stereo. That has been so useful. But I have an SVT exhaust in my garage waiting to go on this car, so my "best mod" may change soon.

You've got Revos? When I had my car, I had those on there. My brother-in-law inherited them when my car became not mine anymore. He now has them on his Silver frost SVT! They look good!

Top 3:

1. Lightweight wheels. Amazing what unsprung weight does.

2. SHM long tube headers - power throughout the power band - very nice.

3. 3L

If I had to say? Sprucing up the front end with mesh grille, body coloured grill, and 9005s in my 9006 for sexy looking lights while driving at night. Makes me want to ONLY drive at night
