For those of you who aren't already familiar:

http://www.hetfield.net/contour/registry/

This was the list being maintained by Toadster a long time ago. There's a good chunk of data for model year 2000 missing. I'm currently trying to track down the original data, but I'm making a call to everyone to please check the registry and submit (using the link at the top of the page) your info if you're not on the list, or if something has changed. If you have acquired an SVT that's already on the list, please let me know this in the comments field. Also, please don't submit your vehicle unless you know the sequence number. If you don't know your number, you can always call 1-800-FORD-SVT with your VIN handy; you do NOT need to order a certificate.

Edit: Toadster came through and I'm going to input the rest of what's missing ASAP.

The color for my 99 is wrong. 1999 #1256 should be black, not silver.

I have tons of peoples on my list. You want me to fill theres in? Or just wait for them to do it.

1998 E1 mklaro 6291 06/03/1998
needs to be updated to "aircougar" since mklaro sold it.

And it's great to hear that you've received the old 2000 info. I was wondering where our SVT went.
Posted By: RawBurt Re: CSVT Registry - 06/12/06 11:59 AM
Well I treid adding myself, not sure what happened though
Posted By: hetfield_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/12/06 01:51 PM
The sumbission form doesn't actually add you to the database, it just sends me an email. I didn't want to have to clean up someone who thought they'd be funny and make entries for I.P. Freely or worse.
Posted By: Keyser Soze Re: CSVT Registry - 06/12/06 02:40 PM
That list is so old CHOW is on there! My SVT was sold to TheFordGuy. 2000 silver #365.
Posted By: hetfield_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/12/06 04:07 PM
Yeah, the biggest problem with maintaining that list is when a CEG'er sells his car to someone who will never visit this site. I'm also very interested in getting the retired list up to date. If anyone has totalled their SVT, please submit your vehicle and make an appropriate note in the comments field.

yeah i noticed a couple that need updating.
like BacoSVT no longer has his car it belongs to Heavyweight3000

and Goonzies car isnt on there, his being #9 for 1998.

My former 3L.

Owner: Icefury
Year: 2000
Build date: 01/12/00
Build #: 1522 of 2150
Silver Frost / Midnight Blue
Posted By: Cobra_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/12/06 06:13 PM
I noticed I'm not on there, but you said there's more of the 2000's you need to update. I know I was there at some point.

I know SVT's 1998 (E0) 2843 was sold and then totalled.

Wasn't svtcarboy's 1998 (E0) 1139 totalled recently by the new owner?

SVTStyle 1998 (E0) 4109 no longer has his car.

Hugo 1998 (E0) 1730 no longer has his car.

Goonz is on there, but its the wrong build #. bbrown 1998 (E0) 1676 (Kidding!!)

Rick in NH 1999 (E1) 1090 no longer has his car, and I know the engine blew and I think he sold it as a parts car to someone in Canada.
Posted By: Big Daddy Kane Re: CSVT Registry - 06/13/06 01:52 AM
I'm going to use the form to update #2119 for 1998 as soon as I go look at the build date.
Posted By: KingpinSVT Re: CSVT Registry - 06/13/06 05:15 AM
Added.
Posted By: monsoon725 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/13/06 12:46 PM
I own 99 #703. I got it from a stealership. Interesting that who I assume to be the previous owner, is also listed in the registry.

Added myself...1998 sil-frost #5999 5/15/98
Posted By: BlackE1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/13/06 05:29 PM
added 1998 E1 #5683 on 4/15/1998 black/MidnightBlue
Posted By: hetfield_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/14/06 02:07 AM
Ok, I think I have everything entered that I have so far. Please, continue to submit updates, even if its not your vehicle. I'm really hoping to fill in as much color data as I can.

Thanks for the update.

FYI, I own 'driven's car now.
Posted By: Big Jim_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/14/06 06:15 AM
If you wish you may complete the information on mine. It is 1998 #240 built 4/15/97 and it's T-Red.
Posted By: Cobra_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/14/06 10:58 AM
One thing I was thinking about would be listing all previous owners (if known) for each car too. That may be too much of a PITA though. Either way, thanks for resurrecting the list!
Posted By: BlackE1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/14/06 11:13 AM
Another thing to add as well maybe the retired svt. Ones that have sadly been totaled or dismantled.

Whats up with this

Quote:

SVTouring 2362 07/28/1999
AndysSVT 2397 07/29/1999
David L. 2401 07/28/1999
sboardi420 2412 07/30/1999

How is #2401 built after #2397?

i think you meant before by the dates
Posted By: Cobra_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/14/06 03:41 PM
I think because they had an issue or two during mfg and it had to be taken off the line before getting the final approval. The build numbers were issued based on VIN and the VIN is created before the car is built. Could be a random QC audit or something else too.

Yes that's what I meant.
Posted By: hetfield_dup1 Re: CSVT Registry - 06/14/06 05:50 PM
There are several instances like this. For example:

Quote:

gallobg 2444 07/15/1997
Stick 2445
Grumbis 2468 02/02/1998
TWK98 2478 07/16/1997

This seems ridiculous, but that's how I received the data. I'm always open to corrections.
Posted By: Tourige Re: CSVT Registry - 06/14/06 06:46 PM
mines wrong, it says 1856, im actually 1853

I have a limited amount of data from Toadster's orginal, but I just haven't gotten around to creating the database to store it and writing the code to display it. My ambition-meter is a little low right now.

Just found out the build numbers and dates of the 2 SVTs I just picked up and added all 3 of them to the registry.

1998 (Black) #542 4/29/1997
1998 (Silver) #1266 5/23/1997
2000 (Silver) #1533 1/12/2000

I've received several submissions in the last week, but I just haven't had time to input them. I hope to get to it early next week. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. I know it may seem like a useless little bit of hobbyist trivia, but hey, it keeps me off of drugs... or something.

Finally got around to adding mine, even though i see Tony didn't have it on there.

I still have my 2000 SVT number #185. Its got 111,000 and still going strong. I've a sticky gas pedal, my driver's side window won't go up with out holding it straight, and I need a new fuel pump but everything else is fine.
Posted By: debos99csvt Re: CSVT Registry - 07/16/06 08:12 PM
how long does it take after submitting your car does it acutally show it?

Yeah, I've been procrastinating. Tomorrow I'll go through what I've got and update the list.

Just wait till 07.

I finally lit a fire under myself and got the list caught up. I've only got about 500 SVTs though, so there are a lot more out there to be submitted.
