My SVT has 0 miles on it, mainly because I don't have one yet. However, my '98 SE has 54k on it. By no means the lowest mileage here, but not bad!

i sure as hell wish I did..

There are some newer SVT's with less miles than mine (Alex from MN comes to mind, as I think he has 30,000), but I have 45,000 on a 9 year old car, which equates to 5,000 per year. Yes, its a garage queen. Yes, that's the way it will stay

Edit: Alex has 34,000 according to the link, so roughly the same mileage as mine.

i probably was one of the closest. about 9 months ago i had 12,800 with my 98 SVT but now i have 40k. had school in PA and drove back and forth on the weekends.

I have 48k on the first 1998 produced. I have the original rims so i know it was one of the first, but I dont have the exact production number..

What is the build date on the VIN decal on the driver's door?

39,540 on my 2000.
Posted By: bullion Re: Who has the least original miles - 05/27/06 02:08 PM
Not bad numbers...I really just asked because I kept seeing SVT for sale that had some pretty high millage...wanted to make sure that some people keep their SVT's as toy cars. Last time I checked, my SVT had somewhere around 56k miles, but I have one of the first one's ever made #607 out of 6,535 which means it was built/bought in 1997 some time. If I would have gotten my Mazda 6s sooner, my millage would have been significantly less...oh well, at least it has never seen snow (rare thing for someone who lives in Ohio).

just rolled over to 33k last night on my 98.5 svt build number 5683 on April 15 1998
Posted By: lakeside Re: Who has the least original miles - 05/27/06 06:28 PM
although not an svt, still, my '98 v-6 mystique ls has very low original miles- today, just over 32,500. three summers ago when i picked it up in grand rapids, it only had 25k on it.

it is neat fair weather driver. and yes, it is a garage queen. right next to my moonlight blue '97 eb expy.

how can you say it's the first when you don't know the production number . goonz can say he has one of the first made, his build number is 009, i think someone else on here has 006 or some low number like that.

I remember a thread a couple of months back that 0006 was in a wreck. Can't remember if it was totalled or not though.

Prolly a huge BSer. I recall that one, seems weird to have some nice cars and then a contour. Not to slam our cars, but everyone here knows what I mean...

Not the least, but pretty low miles.

I have a set of 99 CSVTs that left the asssembly line identical in every way except destination. Tropic green with tan leather, 20K and 28K miles.

By spring they will still look the same...

58K miles on 00 wife's mystique.
Posted By: Figols Re: Who has the least original miles - 07/24/06 05:21 PM
I saw a 99 SVT go through the auction last year with 40K miles on it. It sold for $6500 (if I remember correctly) and then popped up on Ebay a few weeks later and sold for $12,000 (I think).

Personally, I currently have a 95 Mystique GS 2.0L auto with 65K miles and a 96 Contour GL 2.0L auto with 51K miles. Both are for sale if anyone is interested.

I also have a 96 LX 2.5L auto with 62K miles (not for sale yet)

My 96 SE 2.5L had 46K miles on it last year when I put it on the road, but since it's my current daily driver it now has 110K miles. Yes I do put on a lot of miles! I am getting ready to sell my SE also if anyone is interested.
