Everyone post your car's miles w/ what repairs and such. Could also post miles of friend's/other people's cars you know of with high mileages.

2000 SE Sport 160K miles (original owner)
Non-routine repairs(i.e. stuff other than brakes, fluids, belts, tires, batteries, plugs,etc):
Heater fan resistor
IAC valve
Throttle Positioner Sensor
Alternator
AC condensor(thanks to wayward raccoon)
Fuel pump
Winshield(thanks to wayward buzzard)
That's it! (knock on wood)

1996 GL ATX, 97,7xx
valve cover gasket (being done at the shop right now).
Thats been it. Maybe wiring harness. Am the 4th owner though.

you had a shop replace you're valve cover gasket? Im sorry, but um... Thats like a 20 minute job, its almost as easy as replacing your spark plugs

131,739 replaced fuel pump, replaced everything inside the gas tank and windsheild.

1999 SVT 37k miles. Regular maintenence since i've had it. dont know maintenence record before i owned it. R-Title

A little over 45,000 miles. regular maintenece, no issues. stored winters. original owner.

1995 SE 200,000 miles --> way too many things replaced. Put it this way: nothing is original except the motor and trans which has a new head and a 3 yr old clutch. So basically it is and entirly new car...

throttle cables to paint to interior to spare tire even! too many to list - want more info just ask!

2000 svt 83xxx miles. Replaced water pump. 2nd owner.

1999 Contour LX four cylinder with 76,000 miles.

O2 sensor bank 1
Fuel Filter
Need Front right spring (broken)
Regular oil changes
Trans fluid flush
Breaks
Spark plugs and wires
Need to change belt

Still running hard (knocking on wood)!!!

1995 Contour GL V6 5 spd. 300,560km,original engine,replaced tranny.

Car is getting junked by the end of the week.

My '95 Zetec has 264 500km.

And my new ride,1989 Mazda B2200,has a mere 128 000km.

200++K miles on his original tranny, engine and clutch!!

1995 Contour SE (Duratec / 5 speed)

- 117,000 miles

- Bought with 94,500 miles. NO mechanical problems other than moosing and a busted Power Steering Pressure Hose.

- Love this car!

1998 SE Tour.

Bought with 37,000 miles, currently has 46,000 miles.

Currently has tranny problems, steering problems, and am looking for cheap OEM parts for it.

My view of it:

Could be better. At least it gets me around. But not without a tantrum of some sort.

200++K miles on his original tranny, engine and clutch!!

95 tour SE 2.5 dura 117,xxxmi and still running strong no major problems.

98 Contour SVT 77,xxx miles. Brakes pads and rotors, O2 sensors.

99 tour sport v6 116,xxx miles. done regular stuff like brakes, rotors, oil, etc. Only other things are throttle sensor and the bushing went out in the passenger side upper control arm, so had to replace that.

00 Mystique LS V6 Atx, 53Kmiles, 2nd owner, regular maintenance only. Changed the TUBE ASSY-CRANKCASE only.

1999 Mystique LS, 2.5L, Auto
196,000 miles
nothing replaced other than fluid, filters, tires, sparkplugs, front brake pads @ 105,000 mi.

original waterpump
original sparkplug wires
original rear brakes
original PCV valve
never have cleaned throttle body
consistently 30 mph on highway

98 SVT 152345

Replace list- too long to post. Stock internals and tranny though.

98 SVT Contour original owner approximately 382,000 Km converts to about 237,400 miles give or take a few. I am not 100% sure what my exact mileage is as my speedo died on me at the end of year last year and I drove it for about a month with it not calculating mileage. Still lovin the car.

I have done:

wheel bearings a few times in the front
rear wheel bearings once
clutch
third gear syncro
brakes including new rotors and calipers
water pump (long time ago)
new speedo
regular stuff like plugs, wires, oil changes etc.
There is probably some other stuff to but I cannot recall off hand.

98 SVT with 87,000 miles. Second owner.
02 sensor, bank 1
Preventive maintenance:
metal impeller WP
new belts
UIM/LIM cleaning
Spark plugs/wires
Trans. drain/refill
coolant flush
brake fluid flush

111k miles.
I have replaced:

Transmission(diff,axle broke)
Alternator
Springs and struts
Front wheel bearing.

Other than that, just basic mods because I wanted to, not because I had to.

Miles: 98,800

Transmission: Automatic

Engine: Zetec 4 Cylinder 2.0L

Problems im aware of:
Slight coolant leak
Needs a touch of 134a
Soon Need tires
oil change
cooling system flush
new Transmission Fluid
Wiring harness is cracking (UH OH!)
IAC Valve may need to be cleaned/replaced.
may need battery but i think i saved it for now

Repairs made:
thermostat
Spark Plugs
Front Brakes
Fuel Injector O-Rings
a/c Accumulator
---------
Thats all im aware of.

Zetec/ATX

138,xxx (not sure of actual mileage, changed my cluster(says 168,0xx) and didn't write it down)

only thing I've done was replace both front struts, everything else was basic maintenence(timing belt/WP/muffler/brakes)

2000 Contour SE CNG/gasoline bi-fuel, 24K miles, replaced tires/fuel filter.

old=96 mystake 102590 when I sold it to my friend (who did know what was wrong with it btw) for $500 lol.
things wrong/replaced
1. timing belt
2. alternator
3. front bumper (many times)
3.5 front bumper is 25% missing off the left side and windshield washer fluid shows.
4.missing FL blinker cover
5.horribly painted gold rims (2 of them) the others nasty black.
6. missing the drivers door handle/locking mechanism
7. horrible horrible insane clicking sound coming from the blinker relay, wont stop, never could fix it without a whole new assembly.
8. automatic transmission slipping horribly bad
9. terrible smell eminating from all the apholstry
10. carpet all tearing up from the floor in the back seat/front seat
11. Missing the big side of the fold down seat
12. the middle seat belt latch in the back bites you, bad, my friend needed stitches.
13. missing the antenna, the whole antenna
14. horribly painted dash and shift consol
15. horribly painted other things
16. it was a pizza car for 7 months

My god as I typed this I started laughing soooo hard I got in trouble at work lol, that car was such a piece of f-poo. I'll get pics of it sometime.

current= 98 mystique ls v6 5spd 92000 mi, just purchased at 89000 mi. all replacements made as far as my knowledge.

1. water pump (stupid plastic impellar)
2. broken rear sway bar
3. left rear reverse light
4. left fog light

thats it, the car is absolutely cherry, full leather, the only thing it doesn't have is a moonroof. how much would that cost neway??

The usual maintenance ... battery, plugs/wires, brakes all around, 02 sensors, water-pump(preventative)... etc

Most of the suspension
Transmission(twice)
Bunch of other little things I can't remember ...

95 Merc Mystique v6 ATX
80,000 miles original trans and engine
Regular maintence (struts,springs,fluids(including atx), drivers hub) I believe thats all. I like it and have had it for almost 2 years now...the longest iv owned a car

Problems: Tie Rod, Bearings, Oil pan leak. That's about all! Oh, and I fixed Mr. Moose Problem!
