Well, Wilma came thru here with a fury never seen before.
She has messed up my 98 SVT,my wifes new Sonata and my daughters Saturn with deep scratches, a few dents and even some of the glass was scratched by flying debris.
Trees down, fence destroyed, roof leaks, pool is empty.

Contacted State Farm, FEMA, SBA, IRS.
All are supposed to help but so far its all lip service.
Still no electricity here, boil water and cooking on the Bar B Que.
President Bush was here but didn't do much more than shake some hands and kiss some asses.

Same way I am maybe. I'm at work. I can't find a 7500 watt generator to run my house. Next week it's supposed to get into the mid to upper 80s - gonna be some cranky people in south Florida. With that gun law that was passed, every single tourist that asks for directions will likely be killed within a few days, right guys....?

( just couldn't help poking fun at the nanny state doom-sayers ).

My expected power hookup time is November 22nd.

Boss here had 2 of his cars totalled by a royal palm tree - crushed. One of them he just bought a few months ago.

I don't mean to be rude, but why didn't you leave the area?

Anyway, sorry to hear about your cars. Hopefully your power will be restored soon!!

Had plans to leave if the storm was projected to be a cat 3 or better when it reached the E coast. Unfortunately, the storm did just the opposite of what they expected & got stronger as it crossed land... It exited the peninsula as a cat 3.

Cat 1 or 2 storms can be weathered if you do some planning, but any stronger and you're taking serious chances.

Not yet. Haven't gotten a camera & computer in the same room as yet. Been wondering around looking for places to stay that have power. When I get juice back, I'll have a vid for you guys.
