I always liked that yellow. Someone need to do their SVT in Mustang screaming yellow.

Actually, RT, Their is one for sale in Florida. My girlfriend and i just came back from florida. Her father just bought a summer home "to chill" and my girlfriend and I drove past a dealership sort of thing that had like 20 mustangs of all different years and in the corner of my eye there was a YELLOW svt!!!!! I immedietly turned around and took a look. It had 6,500 miles WWWWOOOOOWWWWW!!!!! However, the paint was beat, the headlights were so hazed that they would of needed a replace, and my G/F lost the card that had the name of the dealership and the number! I just wish i could of drove it! I bet those svt's are mean as hell!

My G/F and i both agreed that the yellow looked terrible and that I would have to be painted. On top of the fact that Bondurant put stickers all over the car and someone took them off and did not take the sticky remains off so, it just looked terrible. Roll cage though! and only 6,500 miles. Only, because they are not street legal!

Id rock on on if I had some extra cash...

not really. They're just plain ol' svt's with a good tranny and the added weight of a full rollcage on them. Suspension too I suppose. Nothing special though.

The trannies aren't even that good.

No, but for the price they were going for and the modifications done to them, they were well worth the price...

Those things were rode hard and put away wet. The instructors HATED them...especially the newer instructors who were stuck with them as the veterans got to drive the limited number of Cobra-powered Crown Vics. The mechanics hated them too, because they were ALWAYS fixing them, and surprisingly enough it wasn't the trannies that were the biggest problems, it was the engines themselves. Something about oil starvation in corners

And CobraVics are going for 13-15k....alot cheaper than I expected.

Sure, they drove all of them hard...but from my experience they intentionally tried to kill the contours.

Last I heard they wanted over $20k for the Vics. For $13k I'd be ALL OVER one...except they're not licensable for the street, and I can't afford a track-only toy. I wanted one so bad I could taste it.

just got the email this week about the Vics so it should be accurate.

Ya i talked to a guy from bondrant about 3 months ago 13-16k for a Cobra powered Vic

there was a small fleet of CSVT's purchsed and tuned by the Bob Bondurant car instructor school.

Nope. All the trans had was a Zetec FD and that's it.

And supposedly a hardened diff. Doubt it did much though.

I checked into buying one of these about a year ago. I was indecisive about it though. The guy at Bondurant sent me a bunch of photos and a list of the mods and if I wasnt so dumb I would post. If anyone wants to PM me their email address I can send this info to them...
