Wow. They changed everything on it. Even the rear discs back to drums! The seats are cloth now too! And you get dual exhaust! Hot dog!

Really though, I think the dealer is just a little on the stupid side and thinks its an SVT simply because there's a badge on the back. That automatically shows you that they posted the auction without checking the VIN number.

It's a purdy blue though...

I've always wanted a SVT but don't have a lot of experience with a manual tranny. I wouldn't want to tear it up, so I think I'll get this one. How much do ya'll think I should bid? I'm thinking $100 million, I'll have it wired from my swedish bank account.

CORRECTION:
The paper work for this car which I have recieved from the bank states clearly that it is a SVT model. Although due to the high rate of emails I have come to realize that the model is NOT as stated in the paper work. Even though the muffler of the car is a dual exhaust system just like the SVT and all of the opptions are simliar to the SVT model. This car has been modidifed to the same model as the SVT. It sounds, drives, rides and looks like the SVT. BUT THIS CAR IS NOT A SVT.

Been modded to the same model as the SVT??? It doesn't even have an SVT engine.

I sent him feedback just now. The eBay listing still shows it as an SVT in the description.

It's another badge car, like the fake Civic "Si's" or "Type R's".

I don't know why people think that they can add a few mods and then say "it's an SVT".

Fake muscle car from the 60's are just what they are "fakes", and don't have the same values. They ever hear of the term "numbers matching"? Here in the VIN, it is obviously not an SVT.

This car may have a few SVT parts on it, but it is not an SVT, as you admit. However, it only has a very few SVT parts, and is missing:

a) SVT engine
b) Leather
c) 5-speed manual
d) 16" wheels with lower-profile tires
e) Different body work
f) 4 wheel disc brakes

Those differences mean it is a relatively average Contour, not the fastest model made! The difference in engine, transmission, brakes, and wheels is what makes the SVT drive like it does. Remove SVT from the heading, if you want to stem the tide of corrections. I would recommend saying that it has a few modifications, including some SVT parts, if you want to be somewhat honest.
