Yet again, another uninformed SVT seller. This one musta had the 3.0L modded option from the factory. Or maybe it's the Toreador is fastest red color?

The trunk is debaged as well, but the dealer is added in place of the SVT.

Clearly the standard V6 air box and Tred are obvious signs of added Hp! Thats why my Se will waste my SVT, its all in the airbox!

Something I noticed about that car: It had to have been bought at an auction in Lancaster County or som rural area. Collingdale, Pa is 20 minutes from my house and we all require 2 inspection stickers on our windshield (emission and general inspection). That car was bought outside the 5 county Philly area since it has only one sticker.

any body think of running a carfax on this car.

If the vin is valid it will show up as an SVT. The "G" in the vin is SVT.

It's an SVT. It probably had an open element air filter, and the dealer replaced it with the cheapest v6 filter box they could get.

Right. They probably had to take the open element filter off to get it through smog. I'm not sure if the wrong one is really any more legal.

The car really looks thrashed. I wonder what kind of a tough life it has led.

How so? The drivers seat is fairly worn, but that appears to be about it.

The entire interior looks worn. The rear seats look nearly as worn as the driver's seat. The steering wheel leather looks worn. The windshield is pitted.

Maybe it's mostly the light that makes it look rough, but it looks rough to me for a 65,000 mile car.
