Hey Guys,

I was looking at my Pass. fuse box today, and noticed that I have 2 extra fuses than stated in my manual on my 2000 SVT.

According to my manual, Fuse #22 and Fuse #38 are not used. However, I have a 7.5V fuse in both of these slots. Fuse #38 is a switched power source that is only active when the Key is On. I didn't check #22.

Do you guys know what these fuses are used for?

Thanks in Advance,

seen this topic before, it might be some option that you didn't get when you bought the car, but you got an SVT...the dealer may have put them there in case you wanted to add an extra electonic-thingy.

let me step aside and let someone who knows what they're talking about chime in

Any thoughts guys?

Maybe someone with the CD could take a look for me?

if i can remember when i get home i will check my owners manual.
i noticed that the page with the fuse panel layout is a sticker that someone put ontop of the original page.
its page 114 or soemthing like that.
maybe the SVT had a slightly different layout than the non-SVT.

There's a 7.5 fuse on the (courtesy footwell lights, radio constant power, map lights, clock) circuit, I remember it wasnt listed in the manual so I had to pull all of them one by one to find this one when it blew.
This circuit is always active, regardless of the key.

Might be one of them. Was somewhere in the middle of the row.
