do ya'll know what an appraiser does? You take the vehicle to them, they do a market analysis of it and set a price of what it would cost to replace. I have a VERY custom Ducati Monster750. I did not have to pay for everything done to it in cash, worked out trades for other parts or I did repairs on peoples stuff etc....it would cost me probably 25grand to replace that bike (appraised value). So, just because I did not spend that money in cash does it mean its not worth it? How much is your labor worth? I know mine is 65 and hour, call my shop and ask. Rob has a killer car, not my style but very well done. He spared no expense when doing it, 25K is a good price for something of that caliber. who cares what it started out as, someone wanting to get into showing cars will buy it and keep winning.
People suck.
Rev it till it MELTS.....

"Appraised" just under 80 grand is totally misleading trick on the part of the seller, let alone the fact he won't be able to sell it for over 12 grand in the best case scenario. Now, Dean's car with all its paint job and body modifications and all the leather Corbeau seats and tons of electronics, video monitors in them visors, custom made trunk, air ride, etc., etc. - he told me that - IF - he were selling it - he won't ask more than 25 grand, and even that will be close to impossible to get.

This car looked like crap last time I saw it in person. If I am not mistaken, it had different rims on each side of the car at that time.

with over 30K miles on the car and having pics of it from 4yrs ago I'm assuming he has been daily driving this.
I'm figuring his whole front end needs to be resprayed and re airbrushed due to rock chips and the like.
$3,000 wheels and tires
$23,200 car (and he has no moonroof)
$7,000 ICE
$1,000 suspension (I'm assuming he has Konis & GC's)
$1,000 interior/seats
$20,000 paint
$2,000 miscellaneous
= $56,200
Anyone come up with the other $23,000?

I dont know, I mean its a really nice paint job but i wouldnt pay that kind of money for it. It aint my style. Dont get me wrong its a really nice car. The only thing I really like about this car is the interior. Bummer that it has no sunroof it would look nicer. Heck you can buy 3 CSVT's with the starting bid.

That car used to be real nice. Last time I saw it he could shake the front bumper 4in. w/ his hand, It's literally falling apart!! The fiberglass in the trunk is all chipped from the system and the leather seats are all fugged up from an overweight driver. The guy that painted those graphics did my vinyl (when I had it), he's very good but a very bad business man.
