i see the problem with aluminum wings as this...it simply doesnt balance the car out. it creates a huge distraction away from the smooth lines of the car. ok, try to picture this. think of a guy 6 feet tall with proportional arms and legs. now, get rid of his legs and give him legs from a guy 5 feet tall. your going to look at him and know something is wrong, that something just doesnt look right. your wing just doesnt look right. the only way to reasonably (i use that word loosely) pull off the wing is with a body kit like the svt kit that gives the body more surface area, that goes down closer to the ground. a body kit makes the cars legs longer, if u will. i dont think they even look right on real race cars but at least they are functional. full racecar brakes are really awesome. i have no intention of running them on my daily streetcar. the only aluminum wings that even look close to ok are the ones i see on any car but they are mounted very low, these are the adjustable ones. taking pure aesthetics into mind, we lower our cars to reduce wheel gap and the 4x4 look to give the car a sleeker, smoother racy look and stance. adding a wing that sits several feet up off the trunk seems (to me at least) to be working in the opposite direction, again for a street car at least.
