I seriously hope that you know about engine electronics Perry, Because EEC-V and EEC-IV do not fair well with over 20 degree variations from actual temperature on either sensor.. And the expected engine performance over 6K will not be as expected.. I tried the pot deal with my ohm meter attached so I could see the amount of resistance applied... And I can tell you that 6K is the limit (Duratech or Zetec) Same controller... No difference except programming.. And ignition systems.. Zetec uses a separate DIS controller where the EEC-V on the Duratecs do not..
