Thanks...nope, cowl hood is still on. I don't drive it that much during the winter, only on clear dry days. I gave it a good coat of wax a couple of months ago and hit it again a couple of weeks ago when we had upper 60 temps.

That is my plan for this Spring...
I used the factory brackets and modified them a little to fit the new Hella fogs in. I should have taken pictures during the install but didn't. I had some pieces of aluminum that I bent up instead of totally modifying the original brackets...incase I decided to put the factory fogs back. I plan on redoing them this Spring so that I can make them adjustable like the originals, I'll take pic's this time around For the wiring, I currently have them wired separate from the original switch wiring but when I redo them this Spring I am going to splice the fogs into the factory wire and run a separate lighted switch for the angel eyes. I did the fog light mod some time ago so the fogs come on with the parking/running lights. With the fogs wired separately I tend to forget they are on sometimes. If I splice them into the original wiring/switch I will get the "lights on" beeps and know to turn them off. The angel eyes I would see the lighted switch or LED on and remember to turn them off as well. However the angel eyes are only LED's an could probably run for a week before your battery would see any affects from leaving them on. For the money these lights look great...and the white angel eyes look awesome and get lots of compliments
Sounds good. Since you've installed them already I'll take your word that they can be used on the factory wires. I just couldn't really tell by looking at the wiring diagram on Hella if they could or not. If thats the case I'll probably pick up a set next week or so. Thanks

How are PIAA fogs any better if they use the exact same bulb type, H3? That means they give the same light output and as long as they are glass lenses than theres no difference.
I dont know. I think PIAA bulbs are great quality and worth the money but I dont know about some type of lighting assembly from them. What makes there quality so much better than others and how can they justify the price difference?
It's like a Borla cat-back verses a TruBendz.
