I set mine in the 38-40 range front and 36-38 range rear. It keeps the sidewalls nice and stiff for cornering and is well within the tires range.
thats close to mine. 39 front 36 back. my toyot1s have a max of 50psi but thats way too high for me for street use.
i'd guess the higher numbers for hipo tires are for track use where potholes or traintracks dont exist to pop your tires
